Possibly the best service I have experienced tonight during my 33 years in US. I drove here from Austin to drop off my parents at the airport and decided to goto lasbela and I was blown away with the atmosphere and service. Top notch.

Our dining experience at Lasbela was exceptional. From the flavorful malai boti to the perfectly cooked garlic naan, each dish surpassed our expectations. Came here on the last day of Eid with my gf. It was very busy because of Eid. There were large families and it was a very hospitable atmosphere even though an interracial couple who clearly didn’t look Muslim walked in. The manager and maybe owner immediately sat us and Simreen took our order. The manager was directing the restaurant like a symphony. This was a highlight! Simreen was super great and gave good recommendations. I haven’t eaten alot of Pakistani food, despite my best buddy being from Lahore, but Simreen helped me with the menu. I got the spicy dishes as I usually do at a restaurant and due to excitement, I ordered more spicy dishes that I couldn’t finish. I started with I think the Lasbela curry and ordered the Lasbela kabob after. The naan was the most delicious naan which has ever been put into my mouth-and I’ve eaten lots and lots of Indian food, so my spectrum is very wide here. That’s how delicious the food was. My gf got the Palak Paneer, and she loved hers, but she can’t handle spice like me, so she ate it slowly. This place is so low key. You’d never know that it’s the best Pakistani restaurant in Houston, and likely the best south Asian food here as well.

I'd like to mention an issue we encountered with the billing process. Despite being regular customers and having hosted Ramadan and Eid parties at the restaurant before, we were surprised to find that we were charged gratuity( for Ramadan buffet )for four people when there were only two of us at the table. We were also charged gratuity for our 3- and 4-year-old kids, who didn't consume anything. It's worth noting that buffet for children under 5 are typically not charged, so we found it perplexing that gratuity was applied to them. This was a new policy for us and seemed unfair given our past experiences at the restaurant.

We really enjoyed our dinner tonight! Our server was True! He was very knowledgeable with the new spring features and the menu in general. He made sure our drinks were full and our experience was good. Great job!
Came for Eid lunch/brunch and everything was really organized. The food was fresh and they kept filling the trays. Customer service was on point. Definitely qualifies as fine dining.
