Good experience . We had peshawari chicken karahi , Bihari kabab and naan along with mango lassi which were all good. Food is on the milder side of spicy which works well for me . Other folks may need to request them for a higher spice level . Nice and clean restaurant with nice seating area. Our server Alina did a great job and kept checking on us to make sure everything was good . We will come again to try out the other dishes.

We’ve been to Mai Colachi - Restaurant & Catering - Houston many times but today I felt like expressing how much we love the food and service here. Definitely a go to place for good south Asian food. Rich and unique flavors. We had Chicken Peshawari Karahi( it was awesome) Roghan naan, and masala wings . I think Mai Colachi has the best Karahi n the town. Between 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids) Food was sufficient quantity plus fingerlicking delicious at a reasonable price.Excellent ambiance, great taste, and timely service from super customer friendly staff.Highly Recommend it .. ?

Last weekend I got catering from Mai Colachi and I was not disappointed at all. Food was scrumptious, staff was very helpful, their presentation was awesome. Mr Tayab is very professional and organized. Food Delivered, served, cleaned up, packed left over , very efficiently and on time. My guests were delighted by the quality of the food. Farzana was very helpful throughout the process . I highly recommend them.

My new favorite Pakistani restaurant! The owner, Shehryar and the staff are kind, attentive and professional. We were a party of 15 and they took care of us very well. All the food was out in a timely manner. The karahis are very tasty and authentic. The Peshwari chicken karahi is a must. The best part is the naan. I think they might have the best naan in town!

Good food but very, very poor/rude customer service. My family hired them for my sister's wedding, and the staff were really really rude. Complaints came from numerous guests at the wedding, which was really embarrassing. Something maybe the management should work on. His staff needs to be trained on proper etiquette and how to speak properly!!

Will not recommend for eid buffet, too much crowded and space is small. Food was ok
Normally, their food is good, but this Eid, when our group of 10-11 people visited, everything except the chai was disappointing. The nehari was excessively salty, the biryani was mediocre, and the halwa puri was extremely unsatisfactory. The chana seemed to be swimming in flavorless liquid(looks like shorba water with no flavour) and the puris were cold and greasy. Overall, the food was cold and of poor quality.

We got Mai Colachi catering done for the first time. We were not disappointed! Delivery was on time. Staff was very courteous and professional. Mr. Tayyab managed it excellently. Appetizers , food and dessert, were all scrumptious. Our guests really enjoyed it. They even packed the leftover. Throughout the process of reservations, Farzana was extremely helpful. Would highly recommend them.

Very disappointed with food.I was looking forward for a good taste food but it’s so bad. Chicken like sponge with a spice blend. If it’s your first time going I will recommend to go different restaurants.Seriously the money they charged for food and service was not worth it.The bad thing I drove one hour for pickup order to go It’s a waste of money and gas.

I don’t have any photos and it hurts me to say this because I don’t like to hurt anyone’s business but something has to be said. This is my first time here and it’s for Eid buffet only. I know buffets can be iffy, but since they also cater, I would think they would know what they’re doing. I can’t think of a single dish that I enjoyed. The buffet line was long only once and I hardly saw anyone return . when I got there, there was a firetruck outside and firemen going in and out of kitchen, so I’m not sure if that had anything to do with how the cooking went but here goes:Nihari- meat not edible and super hardKarahi- sloshy water- not cooked enoughTarkari- no flavor and wateryHalwa- gluey and stickyBihari beef- this was ok but some a bit too mushy and not grilled.Bihari chicken had the same issue.Chai was good. I feel sad leaving this review as I had hoped for more and i brought my family who thought the same. Also i m from Karachi so i know what this should taste like. I hope things improve and i can come back. Service was very good and very nice atmosphere!
