I want to give this place a bad rating because I don't want it to start getting crowded. I absolutely love this spot.

It was busy so I would understand if the food took a while but it took them over 40 for our food to come out and by then it was cold they messed up our orders and some orders didn’t even come out

The best sushi. I’ve been going there for years and will continue to go there for years. The best hidden gem.

Looks pretty and tastes horrible. This was the worst shrimp fried rice I ever had. For 14.00 just take it off the menu. You need a telescope ? to find the shrimp. The pack it with a pound of green onion. Its so bland. The peas were frozen inside. It was so gross. I had to add seasoning to try to salvage it. I ordered to go and picked it up. They gave me 20 min wait time to pick it up so it should've been cooked properly even if it was bland at minimum it should've been fresh and not frozen peas.Who has time to pick all those frozen peas out? ?Never order the shrimp fried rice here. There are other resteraunts in the same shopping strip that have large shrimp in the rice for less money and tastes way better. What a waste of money and time.

I went a week ago and the most horrible customer service experience happened to me. I've been going there since I was a kid but what happened a week ago made me never want to go again. Me and my sister split our bill, so I was paying for half of the entire bill. I tipped 15% of my tab whereas my little sister (she's 13) didn't, I believe she forgot but I didn't notice until later. Anyways, the server picked up my receipt with the tip, laughed at me and pointed at the tip saying it was "too less". And then handed it to her coworker in front of me where the coworker said "no you have to tip 15%" and gave me back my split tab. And they proceeded to make me change my $5 to $10. I've always tipped coming here and it was just an awful and rude experience. If I knew my sister didn't tip, I would have gladly but the way they laughed and physically made me change it was awful. I know I should have spoken up for myself but I'm an incredibly anxious person and that should have never happened in the first place. Never going back again.I did love the food though! 10/10

I can only give this place a 2 star for my first time here since one of the roll we got was overly dry and the other roll had a hair in it. I ate the first piece and my wife grabbed the 2nd piece and that's when she notice there was a small hair fried with the roll inside. We pull the hair out to confirm if it was a hair or not and placed it on the table before calling the waitress over. We explain to the waitress there was a hair on the roll and ask her to remake the roll and when she return the roll to the chef it seem like the chef didn't believe us or something. We had to search for the hair we place on the table and because of the design on the table (it had a bunch of black lines on it) it took us a little while to find it but eventually found it and showed it to them. I get that these things happens but it left a bad experience and kind of made us lost our appetite. We ordered 3 roll and couple of sushi pieces. The rolls flavor was underwhelming because it looks flavorful but was actually kind of bland. I might give this place one more try just because my first time here was bad luck / bad experience.

We've been coming over here to the sushi place for more than 15 years and it is one of our favorite spots. It's a Mom and Pop's place. Price are reasonable and Sushi are always fresh.

It was my first time dining here. I had a Saba Shioyaki Bento. It was served hot, just off the grill. The fish fillet was a good size and tasted just fine. The green tea and miso soup and all side dishes were just fine as well. It probably seems no big deal to American people, but it’s not easy to find a bento that tastes just like we have in Japan. They were also playing very old Japanese songs (maybe 50 - 60 years old). It was like went back in time. Funny thing is the waitress said they don’t have any Japanese people working here. I’ll be back for sure!
