I go to Sugar Land every once in a while and have tried many boba shops there and enjoyed them. In Bellaire, I visited R&B Tea and had a great experience; I loved the drinks and the staff were very nice and bubbly. But at this Sugar Land location, my experience was the opposite. Upon walking in, I already felt unwelcomed. Walking up to the cashier, I wasn’t greeted with anything. I began to place my order, and I asked if it was possible they do something specific with my drink. The worker, Christine, just looked at me funny and kept saying, “What? I don’t know what you’re talking about,” then with an attitude said, “No. We can’t do that.” I began to pay and I guess it then processed in her mind what she said, and she just goes, “Oh. I thought you said something else.” Then I smiled and told her it was okay but she just kept looking at me with a stone cold stare and I’ve never felt so judged by anyone ever in my life. I told her thank you, and she just stared at me with no response as I walked away. The other young man was nicer, but I didn’t get a smile out of either one of them. I thought it was just me, but my friend who came a little after me told me that they were also really rude to him. You can really tell that they were just high schoolers there for the check, which is understandable, but at least pretend to be polite. Looking at the other reviews, I was surprised they had something nice to say about the staff, so I’m not sure why they were acting like that on this day. The drinks were okay, not as strong as I’d like, but that doesn’t make up for the horrible service.

This is one of my go-to spots for milk tea because they are known for their strong tea flavors, which I prefer. I get the Oolong milk tea with 70% sugar and 50% ice and love the strong tea taste. I definitely recommend this drink but can't really speak on behalf of the rest of the menu items. I also love the convenience of this location (mostly because it's next to one of my favorite pho places).

I also love their regular jasmine milk tea! - Matcha milk tea: This is a smooth and rich drink made with high-quality matcha powder and fresh milk. The matcha has a distinctive green color and a slightly bitter taste that balances well with the sweetness of the milk. It is a great drink for matcha lovers and those who want a boost of antioxidants. - Thai tea: This is a popular drink that originated from Thailand. It is made with black tea, spices, and condensed milk. The tea has a bright orange color and a spicy and sweet flavor. It is a refreshing and satisfying drink that goes well with any snack. My boyfriend's favorite drink is the Hawaiian tea made with green tea base and mango, pineapple, and watermelon chunks. It is served in a ginormous to-go cup that doesn't fit the cup holder though. Other than that, it's a light drink to have if you're not fond of dairy. Overall I highly recommend R&B to anyone who loves milk tea or wants to try something new. The prices are reasonable, the service is fast, and the drinks are amazing. You won't regret it!

I have to said that I am so disappointed. R&b tea is my favorite until I visit Sugarland location. Order rose oolong milk tea and being served with so many tea leaves. I think they used the tea residue for my milk tea. If I have to describe my drink, it's tasted like oolong tea and haft and haft milk. No sweet and No flavor

The Hawaiian Fruit tea is my go to drink. It’s close to my house so very convenient!
The service was amazing! They were very quick and the tea is amazing!! Would 100% recommend going if you love tea/boba. The cups they give are also very high quality. The place was very clean and smelt amazing!

If you are a big fan of strong tea flavor, this is the place for you. Stopped in after lunch for a treat and walking in, there are tables spread out with a self order kiosk at the front. The menu is decently sized with a section for milk teas, fruit teas, straight milk series, coffee drinks, yakult drinks, and more. I believe there are small bites as well but I didn't peruse that section of the menu. I chose the classic milk tea as that is usually my go to at most boba places. Confirming their boba is soaked in brown sugar, I chose to forego sugar in the drink and went 0%. The milk tea itself had a very strong tea flavor. It tasted great. The boba was chewy without being too soft and added the perfect amount of sweetness to the drink. The strong tea flavor and sweet boba pairs very well. Will be back to try other items.

Was super excited to hear that Sugarland was getting a R&B Tea! My husband and I always get our boba fix from the Pearland location, and I am thrilled to also get that fix here in Sugarland! The store is very clean with nice ambient background music, excellent for a study session. The staff was very friendly as well! In terms of taste, it nice to have the option to adjust ice and sugar on selected drinks. Definitely check it out if you're in the area!
