I have been to Sushi Masa before and loved it, so I was excited to take my parents here. But then my father and I both got food poisoning a day after (we ate here on 4/6 for lunch and got sick on Sunday, 4/7) - fever of 100 degrees, vomiting, diarrhea, chills. I have had to take off 3 days of work recovering and am still currently recovering. I know it was the sushi because we haven't seen each other for about a month and have had no other shared meals besides this one at Sushi Masa. Saw one other review from this same exact day from someone else with the same experience. I don't like to write negative reviews, but wanted to bring this to the attention of the management to maybe check the freshness of the food- don't want others to suffer the same experience we did!

I loved the idea of paying $20 for all you can eat sushi. I went to this establishment with my 2 sister in laws on 4/6. The food was good the service was great and our conversation was better. Then on Sunday afternoon I could not stop vomiting and going to the bathroom every 4-5 minutes. I had chills, sweats, body aches, I'm still trying to recover and reading the other reviews, it seems there are many of us recovering.

Everything about this place was decent to good and I would've left a 4 or 5 star but the day after in the middle of the night I had to take a hospital trip for the worst sickness I've ever had, it was a food poisoning. Be careful eating here.

megan's service was great and so was the food, very organized and nicely decorated. Will be coming back.

The food was very good. Nice slices of fish to rice ratio on the nigiri. The rolls were also very fresh and not much rice either which is nice. The tempura vegetables were great, fresh and fried to perfection. I was impressed with the service too. Andrea was our waitress and she was very attentive. The food came out quickly event though there were busy, we got there at 1pm on a Monday after Easter. Keep in mind Fort Bend schools were out, this definitely contributed to the crowd. The restaurant was clean and nice as normal. We will be going back.

Food came out quick and was fresh. Our server was very attentive. The chefs were also accomodating to my avocado allergy. When we arrived around 6pm, it wasn't too busy, but by 7pm the restaurant was almost full. Get here early to beat the rush.

Sushi, Yes Hibachi, No All you can eat sushi was a good deal, huge selection, good service, just be sure to come hungry. Hibachi steak and lobster a major disappointment. (2) of them took forever, steak's ordered medium arrived well done like shoe leather. 3 to 4 pieces of lobster tail finger nail size. Waiter disappeared for 30 minutes, then recommended "next time" order the red snapper.

Great service, amazing sashimi and drink options with AYCE. Favorite roll is the yellowtail lover.

The food is such good quality (I highly recommend the salmon sashimi, it tastes like butter!) and Contessa was amazing — she was so attentive and sweet to us. Definitely a 5 star experience!

We used to love this restaurant and we usually go every 2 to 3 weeks. But we were very disappointed at our visit last week. We sat down and waited for the server for 15 minutes. This is ok if the food was as good as before, but it is not. We ordered several hand rolls and when they arrived, it was a big lump of rice with a tiny piece of salmon (which is totally different from our previous visits)! The salmon and tuna rolls were the same, basically a very thick layer of rice with a tiny piece of fish, and the end pieces just having a small bit of fish. We are looking for a replacement restaurant. Hopefully will find one soon.

Absolutely no complaints other than the long wait sometimes to be seated. They are busy because they are that good.
