I was at their 2nd anniversary celebration. They had great German music, delicious food and drinks. Everyone was having a fun time. Eric, owner, chatted with everyone there. Staff was very pleasant and friendly. Their sausage platter was delicious, and the homemade sauerkraut was out of this world. On Thursday nights there is live music. Definitely recommend...

The food was good, love the Rita pie. Got potatoes instead of the spetzle which I guess they missed. Burgers were ok. Sausage was good. The mustard was the best. The mustard can make anything taste good!

Why 5 stars? Because this perfectly hit the spot at the German Heritage Festival. --- --- --- At the German Heritage Festival, there were approximately 4,000 food options, and I was very indecisive about which one to choose. But I had a plan. I went on Yelp and searched for German food trucks in all of Houston. The Sauer Kraut Food Truck popped up as, by far, having the best ratings/reviews. I then went to their Facebook page, and as I expected, their most recent post was that they were at the Tomball German Heritage Festival. I assumed that any German food trucks in Houston would be and was glad I turned out to be right. Earlier in the day, I walked past the truck and was definitely intrigued when I saw it say something on the side like, "German food with a Texas twist". But I had no idea that they had such good reviews when I initially saw that. We ended up ordering a jager schnitzel sandwich and a currywurst. Both were about as great as one could have hoped for. And while we did not love our overall experience at this festival, The Sauer Kraut Food Truck was the highlight for us. We will definitely stop here again if we see them out and about in the future.

The food is excellent. We were stationed in Germany twice (7 years), and this reminds me of the great food! We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu! We had jager schnitzel , the best Jager fries, red cabbage, curry worst, cucumber salad.. So yummies!
Every time I visit this place it is great! Service is always top notch & the food is prepared fresh and made to order. My husband says the Texas Burger is the best burger in Texas!! I'm happy with anything I order. I can't recommend this place enough!

Jalepeno Burger is simply the best burger around. I love this food truck and it's physically location off Crabb River Road. Owner is passionate about providing high quality food and hiring friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Yummy! First time at the restaurant. We usually order from the food truck. Burgers and Brats were delish and large portions. The ambiance is great with Pictures of Germany and German music playing in the background.
