Cute breakfast spot, super friendly staff and so many choices! The cronut melts in your mouth.

I stumbled across this breakfast place five years ago, and I have personally witnessed this restaurant progress and get better over the years. The owners are actively there and very attentive to both how the staff interact with patrons and the quality of the food coming from the kitchen. As with any new restaurant the kinks need to be ironed out, but I can say that this is one off the best breakfast places in Houston I have been to. They are constantly updating the menu, to keep it fresh and inviting. I enjoy returning to see what new dishes they have added. For me there are many closer breakfast places but none have my preference like toast has. The restaurant decore is young, fresh and inviting, the walls and ceilings are decorated with a nature theme that gives the restaurant an aesthetically inviting ambience. The menu has classic breakfast choices as well as Vietnamese and Hispanic pops of flavor infused in their dishes and drinks. The owners always welcome me and recognize me along with many other patrons, they make this restaurant feel more like a family than a cold corporate cookie cutter restaurant type. I have seen this place become more and more popular over the years and the staff and menu continue to grow and mature. I believe and hope this restaurant will continue to flourish and grow years to come.

I got the Mexican bread french toast, which was decent but a little small and dry. My friend got the chili oil eggs, which she said was really good! Service was great! Solid and well priced brunch spot

Very fun! Fusion brunch place in sugar Land. Sunday noon was very crowded but we sat outside and they were very polite and attentive. Everyone loved their food. I liked the chili oil eggs and also the bulgogi sandwich. Biscuit and gravy looked great as well. Plus they have lots of good drinks and lemonades. Will definitely be back. Good combo of sweet and savory with some fusion of Asian flavors

Love their viet steak and eggs! Great viet iced coffee. There's so many halal options here. It's clearly labeled with a black sticker on their menu. Burger was okay the one time I tried it. All of their pancakes and donuts are good. Skip the French toast- it's not a brioche toast but rather a thin wheat type of bread. There's something for everyone here and they do substitutions. it stays busy here which is always a good sign. Great service and very nice casual ambience. Fresh plants surround you and bright yellow touches around the place!

Food was terrible, service was absolutely awful. If you want to eat over fried bacon and not cooked fries and pay overpriced everything and waste your money visit this place. If I could've put no star I would've.

While the service at Toast was friendly, quick and efficient, the food was a miss for me. My boyfriend enjoyed the chicken and waffles but noted they were average. He also got a mudslide and enjoyed it, but when I tasted it I just got mint syrup milk with chocolate syrup gunks from the bottom. I ate one half of my avocado toast before realizing it wasn't for me. The avocado wasn't fresh at all and there was so much that it was really a mushy mess. The cheesy hash was gritty and mushy as well. We may try the cronuts one day but for brunch I don't think we'd be back.

I was in the area looking for somewhere new to try and googled breakfast. It's a cute inviting restaurant with lot of plants. I ordered Vietnamese coffee and a Toast Breakfast. I asked to substitute the toast for a biscuit. The server said she didn't know if she can do that but she will try. My food came out with the substitute biscuit. The food was barely room temperature and the cheesy hash was cold. The biscuit was hard and toasted. The bacon wasn't crispy as requested. The pancake had a good flavor but was overcooked. The eggs were perfectly cooked but wasn't hot. Just overall not what I expected for a first time visit. It took awhile for the server to come back to check. By then, the food was cold. I told her about everything and she said there's a new cook that has been overcooking the food. There wasn't a manager present. She offered to have it remade. I declined, paid for the coffee, tipped $5 and went elsewhere.

Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was really packed, but they were quick to get us seated. The inside was cute with plants scattered throughout the restaurant. I had the toast, home style potatoes with egg and bacon. It was very savory,my favorite on the plate was definitely their potatoes. For drinks me and my friend got the Blue Electric Lemonade and the Strawberry Soju Cocktail. Both of them were really good, refreshing and almost soda-like. We also ordered the croissant donuts,Oreo cheesecake and Nutella S'mores. Good dessert options if you wanted something sweet after breakfast! This place had a really nice vibe and I would definitely come again to try different things on the menu!

This is not the first time at toast. It’s been a couple of years since we’ve been here and boy!! They’ve gotten super duper busy!! Even though they were packed, we got our food in good timing. Waitress was super sweet, and everyone checks on you. Will come back again! If you don’t want to wait long for a table, go early!! It’s worth it :)

For the price tag I expect better/more. For a place named Toast, the bread was old LOL. Fries weren't hot when they arrived..we only ordered one plate and there were only three other parties in restaurant so can we get some hot fries pleeasseee. Coffee tasted like hot water but the ice chips in my other drink were superb. Atmosphere is wanting. Cant put my finger on it but feels like a waiting room. Been twice, second waitress, Edith, was VERY nice and so sweet.

Great food options, understaffed though. Not a lot of seating and quite loud. Coffee was good, cappuccino and Vietnamese.

This place was great! This was another place that was recommended & I am happy I was able to check out. The quesadilla was very filling. It was served with salsa & a cream based sauce. Both were very good. I'll definitely return once in town.

3.5 stars Food was great but a little pricey. Waiter was good and attentive. Viet pork and eggs $15 - (2 eggs your way, 2 chops, and a salad) - very tasty and tender pork surprisingly. I only expected it to be bigger due to reviews. (Didn't look like 2 5oz chops.) BF and I shared just because we both got cronuts, but if you're hungry, you could probably eat it all. The chops were pretty thin. Maple bacon cronut $5 - very good. Crispy, flaky cronut, good bacon. Good combo of salty/ sweet. Bf loved it for his 1st time having cronuts. A little bit more oily than what I remember at Grove though. Strawberry cheesecake cronut $5 - also very good if you like cream cheese. We enjoyed both cronuts but agreed that the maple bacon one was better just because it's different and has more dimensions (salty/ sweet, crispy bacon)
