Some of the best fried chicken in temple ! I ordered through DoorDash so i really couldn't rate the service or ambiance of the restaurant but all in all some decent fried chicken 8/10!

It had been a while since we had last been here. The chicken was as good as I remembered and the fat Ernie's breakfast burrito was as big and good too. I will say the salsa wasn't quite as good for burrito. Should of taken a picture. It's all gone!!

Though my expectations were tempered, have to say this was one of the best comfort meals I have ever had. The VERY crispy, meaty, juicy chicken pieces were huge. The mashed potatoes and cream gravy were perfect. However...the belle of the ball was the the fried okra! (They should serve it alone in popcorn-sized buckets.) Incredibly FRESH, CRISPY AND SERVED AT THE PERFECT TEMPERATURE.

Do not eat here my co workers and I ordered food here the chicken was old the okra was burned the mashed potatoes was watery. I called and spoked to Ernie he argued me down the food was fresh and that he cooked it. I took it back he laughed in my face as if it was funny! I showed him the brown chicken and the burned okra told me he could only give me $15 back of my $35! What kind of business is this? Even the worker in the back tried to tell him the chicken didn't look good he would cook more! No Ernie said he wasn't going to give me anything smh! I never seen a grown man act so childish with a good paying customer and laugh in my face as if it was a joke! It was my first and last time ever eating there again!!
