Jalisco DF Antojitos y masAlso known asThe Taco JaliscoIt was before8:50 pm, Thursday;February 15, 2024I tried to pull in from 31st street... a pickup truck conveniently blocked the parking lot entryway. It was 10 minutes before closing, Hispanic customers were still inside enjoying, eating their meals.I was hoping to get some soup, Menudo to be specific. The neon sign still shined OPEN. Again, There were Hispanic customers inside enjoying their meals, eating away. It's rare for me to be in Temple, it was the only place I (used) get my menudo, but your drive-thru window lady lost customer. I normally get $40-$60 worth of menudo at a time. Tonihht was only to be 1 menudo, $10+ and a generous tip to be had.I was blocked in, I had to jump a parking space onto a side road because there was no other option to get to the drive-thru. I pulled up, I still had 7 minutes. The girl, with about 6 males behind her at the drive-thru window, just looked at me unpleasantly, said absolutely nothing, looked down playing with her fingers then looked at me. Again, Just looking saying nothing.I finally asked her if they were OPEN, again, the neon sign was on. She said, nooooo we are closed, it's 9.I am taking in account that she was expecting me to order a large meal; again, I was hoping for a large menudo, no chips, no nothing extra. She (and the 6 guys, again with unpleasant looks) never cared to ask me any questions, they seemed to want me gone.Again.-Open sign was on. Hispanic customers eating away inside, enjoying their meals.-Pickup truck purposely blocking the parking lot entry way; with employees watching, smiling, laughing at me.I guess blocking Blocking vehicles from entering is humorous for them. Until I jumped the curb. Couldn't back into a busy main road.-made it to the drive-thru window; irregardless of blocking vehicles. Your female employee with her headset on, just looking, playing with fingers, never said anything, didn't address me, didn't ask any questions. I know for a fact going there for over 10 years she knows how to speak English. Finally me addressing her which took extra time, finally said it's 9, they are closed. After 4 wheeling, I had 5 minutes to ask my question, but was was cut off.I understand it was very near to closing time, but at least ask the customer what they want.... "pero entonces solo soy una gringa blanca." This gringa will never spend money on your menudo again, there will be a better restaurant with better food else where...If you do not want any customers around closing time TURN OFF YOUR OPEN SIGN early. Don't block the parking lot.Don't lie to customers and say it's 9pm, it was close, but still a lie.I, this gringa blanca am done with the Temple Jalisco, off 31st Street across from Scott & White.
