“First visit here. The employees were nice and very responsive during my entire visit.Chips and salsa was very good. Chips very light and perfectly crunchy and salsa was tasty.I ordered the chili relleno with chicken and the only problem I had with it is that there was practically no pepper at all.The relleno was so small that it was non existent.Other then that, everything was great and I'd return in the future!Thank you“
“I loved this On The Border a lot more compared to other ones. It had an amazing staff, better quality dishes, and a nice environment. I would recommend this one compared to others.Kid-friendliness: The staff was super nice to the kids at this one. They may have been somewhat clumsy sometimes, but the kids loved it.“
“My husband just ate at this Taco Bueno in Texarkana. He called me and said that this is the best Taco Bueno he has had in 15 years. He said the ladies working there were so nice and friendly and that the food was fantastic!!! He especially loved the chips and he rarely eats chips!! He said this was perfectly run and the best food.“
“The food is great and the atmosphere is fun. The enchiladas are amazing, but you can't go wrong with the tacos. The service is friendly and helpful. It's a fun place with all kinds of out there decorations like a shark with a mustache eating a taco. There is always something new. I see families in there as well as young adults getting drinks with their food. It's a regular go to spot when visiting texarkana.“
“I only gave 3 stars for the waitress not paying attention. She got my order rite but pressed the wrong thing. I was charged for a whole cheese fry instead of a half cheese fry & the rest of my meals. But it’s funny how you get something wrong and you was told that in person. But when she brought it out to the car, I accepted it cause I had already paid and didn’t feel like waiting for a refund or for the portions to be corrected. But I will be back like always, but if Cheddars come to Sherwood or Jacksonville, Chilis is in trouble“

“We had a group of 14 and were sat immediately on a Friday night at about 7pm. This place is huge and accommodating! Our waiter was amazing. I am sure he had other tables but we would never had known. I wish I got his name. Our drinks were delivered quickly and never ran low. Chips and salsa were refilled without asking and by the way, the salsa was top 3 salsas I have ever had. Great flavor and just enough heat to let you now it was there but not over powering.The food came out quickly and for the most part all at the same time. No one had to wait very long. Food was packed with flavor and I didn't hear one person say they didn't enjoy it.Zapata's was suggested to us by our hotel and we were not disappointed.“
