Went to try out the Blue Lagoon Easter brunch buffet and it did not disappoint. Anything we wanted to eat, they had plus way more. We walked in to a assorted batch baked goods followed by full set up of country breakfast. It included all the breakfast staples plus chicken fried steaks, biscuits and gravy, eggs Benedict, and chicken and waffles. The next table over was a prime rib carving station that was carved by the Chef himself. The prime rib was perfectly cooked and tender and came with horse radish sauce, au jus, and veggie sides. Next, there was pizza followed by an made to order omelette station. We then come up to an assortment of cajun food (the gumbo was delicious). Towards the end there was a beautiful charcuterie layout. We were pleasantly surprised to see the they had smoked salmon for the bagels. The dessert table was the Cherry on top of the whole buffet, so many different cakes and cookies to choose from. The food was amazing, the staff was so nice and attentive, we hope to attend the next buffet event at the Blue Lagoon.

The kids wet playground was dirty, had mildew around, the dry area floor was very dirty,Kids play ground needs serious cleaning full of mildew.She had a good time and was quiet.Thanks.

I found this location on the outskirts between Houston and Galveston. I must say it is a very nice location with a great atmosphere. The ambiance is very bright and beautiful, and it overlooks the lagoon. The food was really good. The garlic hummus was delicious. I really enjoyed my Rasta Pasta, and the Angry Bird chicken sandwich was very tasty and really well seasoned. I can’t finish this review without mentioning Anaya C. She was a great waitress and a very customer focused, and friendly person. She was attentive, helpful, and made sure we enjoyed our lunch experience. Thank you Anaya C. and thank you Blue Lagoon in Texas City for a great meal and experience. We are already making plans to return.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: A nice water park for adults and children.

I attempted my first order from the Blur Lagoon today and was told that none of the lunch specials listed on the website are available. It’s ridiculous that the Blue Lagoon has decided to not offer lunch specials, although they are advertised. I will not be reattempting to order anything from this establishment! This is unprofessional and a terrible first experience, after attempting to order previously and being unable to get anyone to answer the phone. I expect better, especially within my community as most restaurants have lunch specials.

Came for a Birthday luncheon and fell in love with the coastal decor and the beautiful flowers displayed in baskets in their party room. Upon entering the staff was friendly and I thought that would be the tone set throughout. There was a misunderstanding where the staff wasn’t informed by another staff member with the size of party and I felt that was taken out on us guests. There was a tall guy that came over to ask my friend if she had a definite count and he was very friendly. Lexis was our server and she was good at getting our orders out but felt she wasn’t too thrilled about serving us. The wing with the Lagoon sauce was fire !! I don’t care for Mac and Cheese but the Jalapeño Mac and cheese was good and not too cheesy. And the potato bites was very good as well.

Food was ok. Service was very poor. Atmosphere was nice, little noisy in the indoor eating area. Beer selection was very limited. Need to decide if they are a bar and grill or a fine dining establishment.

We had a great time last night. I came to meet my friend, and wasn't sure, if I wanted to order any food. We had a bottle of fresh wine and I ended up ordering a salad and deserts. Everything was delicious. Service was great! Will definitely be back soon.
