The store on the island is much better. Couldn't get what I desired in Tx City, but the ice cream is very good.

If I could give 0/5 stars I definitely would. Went tonight to try to get my 3 and 5 year Olds some ice cream at the Texas City location. Online says they're open until 9 pm. We showed up at 8:15. My 5 year old tried opening the door and it was locked. So I look down at my 5 year old who is crying because all she wanted was ice cream and I tell her we can find ice cream somewhere else. I look up and the cashier is just staring at us and our two screaming children. She didnt even mouth the words "we're closed". Literally just stared. Please update the hours and if the store really does close at 9 pm, please inform your employees of that.

I was recently at the Texas City location and WOW! Jai was PHENOMENAL.She allowed my kids to taste the ice cream before we purchased it to be sure they would like it. She had great customer service, a positive attitude and a radiating smile. She even joked around with my son. The bathroom was clean,which is a plus on my book. My kids really enjoyed their visit and we definitely will be returning soon. I can't wait to try a new flavor.

They let us taste test which I really like to do before I commit to a flavor. I liked the fast service even if it was a bunch of people coming in at the same time, I do wish there was better lighting though! I would come back again if I was in town!

Decent Ice Cream but way over priced. Texas City location is barely open. Odd times and days. Inside does not look like its taken care of. Kind of shuffled and disorganized. I don't think this location will stay open much longer. Its a shame they could not get the business like other locations do but its in Texas City and most people here can not afford $10 ice cream cones. Especially not a family of 4 or more. It easily can be almost a $100 to treat family here for ice cream.

My husband and I love to find ice cream places while traveling. This was by far the worst value for the price. The size of the scoops were barely enough for a child to enjoy, and the flavors were bland. My husband wanted a brownie sundae and they had no brownies or even hot fudge, seriously. One plus was the customer service. The young lady greeted us with a smile and was very helpful with our questions. Unfortunately we would not return.

From a personal standpoint, I have really enjoyed going to Hey Mikey's with friends. The staff was very kind and helpful. I've loved every flavor I've tried! It is also a nice location downtown that is very walkable to other things to do. As a local, I have seen firsthand how Hey Mikey's gives back to the community and supports social causes like donations to help raise funds for cancer research and support services. Great people!
Mickey´s has some nice flavours of ice-cream. It´s a bit pricey, but it seems like ice-cream is pricey everywhere ;-)

We had a delicious stop for some ice cream in the evening during our visit to Galveston. The ice cream was excellent and the service was very good. We sat outside and enjoyed our treat while doing a little people watching. :)

Really ridiculously good ice cream. Super friendly staff. I think I forgot what real ice cream taste like. Everything at the store or at other fast food chains doesn’t taste right after you’ve had Hey Mikey‘s real authentic ice cream. Great flavors to choose from. The Texas City location has a huge patio. They make their own ice cream on site. They have a Galveston location that’s much busier too.
