This is not like the old owners and operators. First off they were completely out of fried clams fountain drinks and so forth. The man working the counter had no customer service skills. I have been coming here since 1990 and it is horrible. The so called friend shrimp were just a little larger than my thumb. The fries I ordered were such a small portion. I went to Manhattan in May and went to about 25 of the top pizza places. Village Pizza sits along those easily. It has such a distinct flavor I guess I can understand why someone wouldn't like it. I guess. But man is it spectacular. Is it greasy? Yep. But something about it is just amazing. I would love to try other toppings, but unfortunately he plain peperonni is so good, I just have to get that everytime. Ok so I’ve had pizza from Chicago. I’ve had pizza from NYC, pizza from Boston, CA, and Detroit. I’m telling you this is some of the best pizza I’ve had. Right here, in Texas City. Period. I’m not even one to leave a review, but I seriously felt compelled to write this with how good it was. I ordered the thin crust pepperoni with garlic, and the village special. I will no longer be ordering pizza from anywhere else. So glad they reopened this place!
