“I’ve been to this location several times, and I’m always impressed by their food as well as service. Today my server, Kirsten, did a wonderful job answering questions, anticipating needs and was extremely friendly. As I was a table of one, I had slightly anticipated feeling rushed, but that never happened. I’ve mostly been here in the past with four kids, and still, impeccable service. I highly recommend for an enjoyable breakfast or lunch!Kid-friendliness: They have an outside playground for the kiddos just off the patio so parents can watch while eating.“
“Stopped in for dinner after a day of running errands. The food was tasty.. roughly $6 per taco but a little larger than street tacos. The flavors all blended well. We got the grilled steak (2), chicken and waffle, and fish n’ hips taco with a side of elote and chips. The elote had a slight kick, but mostly mild and really good. Ask for extra queso fresco! The chips were a bit stale, but I love blue corn chips!“

“I love the atmosphere of this location! I think the updated menu is great compared to the Denton location (which I do like btw).No wait in a Friday lunch at noon. Lots of space. Great design and artwork. It took a while for anyone to greet me or the guy who arrived after me, but when I was greeted they remembered the details I missed when I reserved online.Ordered the Quail in the small plates and the bread pudding. My friend had the tomato soup and grilled cheese.The what was excellent, the coleslaw with cauliflower was excellent, the pickles were Delicious! Also had the bread pudding. It was good, not great.Prices were pretty fair for the area. Drinks were good. Will definitely go again.“

“I went 3-14-24 @ 6:25. Starting with parking which was weird. Looks like you have to valet or find parking else where. The restaurant vibe is welcoming and the live band added just the touch of class needed. Taylor the waiter was awesome with three minutes to spare on the happy hour he got me a menu and took my order to accommodate. There was another bartender with him a young lady with dark hair that was very attentive as well. The first person you meet in any establishment can make or break the business. These two worked well together and although the food wasn’t the best I would definitely come back to the bar. The steak nachos were blah as were the avocado rolls.“

“We love coming here as a group to have conversations, catch up with each other, etc. Good is always great. On Thursdays now they have Music Bingo. Unfortunately, it gets so loud between the emcee and the music, we couldn't hear other talk at all. We were in the lower area but that didn't save us. We'll need to find another place to eat on Thursday nights.“
“What a great meal! Overall, it is a relaxed and affordable restaurant. The quality of the steaks is very good and very cost-effective. Especially the free pre-meal bread, so delicious! Paired with cinnamon-flavored butter, it’s so delicious that you won’t be able to stop eating it! Before I left, I asked the waiter to pack a piece of bread for me. This is a store I will visit again and again!“
“Went for a small family birthday. The service was great, atmosphere was perfect and the food was excellent. I went in expecting a run of the mill burger and came out throughly impressed. “Over all I had a good experience, it was good friday- night, my wife and I were part of a party of 11. The tvs are so loud we had to basicly yell across the tables to converse. Our waitress seemed like she had too many other tables at once, she appeared to want to give her best efforts but wasn't able to. I did like the food, I had the guac bacon burger, it was pretty decent. My wife had the Philly cheesesteak and it was also decent, although the cheese was strange, not really Philly style. The price point wasn't terrible for what we got. Though I don't think I would go back any time soon.“

“Great experience and this place is a hidden gem. Excellent brisket and sausage. Pulled pork was good too. Turkey was ok. The sides are difference makers. Surprise side dishes were the cauliflower and the fried green tomatoes. We went with a group and got to try a little bit of everything. Elote, okra and cauliflower were my favorite sides. Mac and cheese was ok. Will definitely be going back to try the Brisket grilled cheese with cauliflower as a side.Parking: Lots of free parking .“
“Good breakfast spot. Service was fast and food came out pretty fast. Saturday mornings are pretty busy, which is expected, but it was still a good experience. Biscuits were a little dry, but big! I was able to enjoy them butter and jelly. I ordered a side order which included 2 biscuits. Portion sizes were plenty and price was average. They offer seasonal pancakes that might not be listed on the menu, so ask about them or you might see an advertisement for them. Area was clean with average noise.“

“Never got around to writing a review for Thirsty Lion, but my party of 5 enjoyed it immensely! The service was fantastic; I don't recall our server's name but she did a wonderful job on a busy Saturday night. They messed up one of my friend's orders (who is a vegetarian) and the manager himself came out and apologized & offered to remake it for free. Portions are large, drinks are delicious, and a great place to hang out with friends or have date night!“
