Overview: This place is your standard hole in the wall Chinese-American spot.FoodFood was great! Their lunch specials are super cheap too. The customer service was great. I forget the gentleman's name at the counter. I did love his customer service. The shrimp fried rice has no wok action The rice is artificially colored. The shrimp is boiled. It doesn't have the crispy bits that you get from a real wok. This is my opinion. I do appreciate the customer service but I was expecting fried rice. This is his best boiled and put together or steamed.

This used to be our go-to when we lived in TC. Now we come up here every once in a while from Coppell as we have not found a place as good as China Star. Our favorites are fried shrimp, egg drop soup, wonton soup, chicken lo mein and chicken with garlic sauce.
