We went with party of 12 ppl on the slowest time of the day at 2 pm on Sunday afternoon. We were sitted quickly and there were just us 12 and 6 other ppl in entire restaurant. They had few servers walking around and manger of the location was just sitting behind us talking to their staff. From taking order for drinks to taking order for food took soooooo long. Then food did not arrive on table for another hour plus. Food was cold , tasteless and us being veg we made sure certain things are made certain ways only. Few on trays were messed up and it was horrifying experience and we were there celebrating 40th bday with family. We totally made a poor decision by going there. After the meal when I spoke to the manager about all the issues. He just took 15$ off of the entire bill and no words of sorry or acknowledging the facts about how things went? I refused to pay the tip but they still added to my debit card. Bill was about $220 plus and food, service and experience was not worth even $5. Strongly suggest not to go to this place ever. Totally totally disappointed and seems like manager did not care at all. So sad!

We were at Al teimpo today for a special occasion. We reached there around 1:30 and ordered food by 2 pm, our food did not come until 3 pm. Waitress had no knowledge how to help a group of vegetarian people. On request to add peppers to our quesadillas, she first said we cannot add it, which is odd as no Mexican restaurant have ever said that. On requesting further, she said let me go and check and then charged us 3 dollars per plate! 2 of our order was incorrect and worst was manager did not even acknowledge their mistake and only words he said- I understand.Food tasted below average.This was the most disappointing experience and thanks for ruining our special occasion.

Based on my experiences I’ve had at the other locations, I my hopes were high for this location. Unfortunately the quality of food made the experience pretty lack luster. The food was prepared just fine, but the quality of food was not on the same level as the other locations across the city. Service was great, but I won’t be coming back unfortunately.
Great Food!!! There are two servers brand new, that provided an excellent service even though we were not their table.

No communication at the door it was just assumed to follow the host. He didn’t make eye contact or communicate. The waiter was rude and provided awful service, almost as if we were being ignored. Multiple families came and went after we had been seated. Empty drinks empty chips and salsa. When food came out it was ice cold. I rejected my meal, my wife had hers taken back and when it returned it was obvious it had been microwaved. I spoke to the manager who apologized for being busy even though half the restaurant was empty and again multiple families came and went after our arrival. We have been going to El Tiempo locations for over twenty years but this is one to AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Terrible from start to finish.

Slowest possible service imaginable. Showed up for lunch and only the only other guests were a table of two. It took forever (literally) to get salt for chips, sweetener for tea, napkins/silverware, etc. If you're not ready to open for business at 11:00, just stay closed until 12:00. This is not a place you want to go to for lunch unless you don't have anywhere to be until dinner.
