I had terrible food poisoning after eating here about 10 yrs ago and refuse to return. The restaurant would not accept responsibility and I ended up in the hospital, in horrific pain and on

Very nice place for Hibachi. I do not eat this type of food we went to celebrate a birthday and they like it. The sushi rolls we had were good. The one with crawfish on top was AMAZING. Hibachi guy did a good job and was entertaining. We did the family meal for 10. All was good

we had the hibachi beef, shrimps and calamari. Food was tasty and with the right level of seasoning, not overwhelming like another hibachi spot we used to frequent.

LOVED my sake experience she gave everything she was supposed to. Sarah slayed as my server, the way she shimmied her way around the restaurant and always came to my table at the most convenient times made my experience top-tier!

Great food. Over priced, but it is 2024 and all restaurants are over priced. I have been looking for udon noodle soup like I enjoyed in Japan 50 years ago since I returned to the U.S. THEY HAVE IT!

The food and service were great! Gave a 4 star for the atmosphere as the floor in the hibachi area was slippery, and the restroom needed air freshener. You could smell it from the hallway corridor. It's not the best scenario when you're trying to enjoy a meal.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu was great!

The best hibachi! My Mom and I eat here so frequently! The happy hour menu is great too. Cannot recommend enough. One of my favorite places to eat out!

My recent dining experience at Sakekawawas disappointing to say the least. The quality of the shrimp and lobster hibachi miserably failed to meet expectations, as both were grievously overcooked, leading to a compromised, rubbery indulgence I'd liken to dishes served at a cheap Chinese buffet – uninspiring and lacking in quality. To make matters worse, the establishment's pricing was steep, grossly misaligned with the substandard fare served. Moreover, the drinking water had a distressing flavor, akin to sewage, and was unfit for consumption. This discrepancy between price and quality alongside the serious concern with the water makes it difficult for me to ever recommend anyone to eat here. It is with hope that the management will heed this critique and strive for the high standards one would anticipate from a restaurant of their pricing.

I have been here about 4 times in the last 4-5 months and each time I have had horrible service. Only reason I continue to come here is for the food. Every server I have had has been very forgetful, inattentive, and seems to be annoyed. My last visit was probably the worst experience so far with witnessing multiple employees talking rudely to each other in front of customers which is VERY unprofessional and does NOT create a welcoming environment that a restaurant should have. Customers come to your restaurant to relax, have a good time, and eat food. It is hard to enjoy your time with those you came with when you witness employees going at it with each other. The whole place is unprofessional in the way employees talk to each other in front of customers and also the way employees talk to customers. All of the managers need a lesson in how to give constructive criticism to fellow employees rather than with an angry tone and angry facial expressions in plain sight for customers to see and hear. Whoever the owner is needs to focus on training managers to be professional with fellow employees and customers because I was genuinely shocked for what I witnessed thinking I was on the TV show ‘What Would You Do?'

I found out about this place on Open Table. I wanted to try something different with my husband. We had their Valentine's Day dinner. It included your choice of appetizer, soup or salad, an entrée, and dessert. We had the pepper tuna sashimi appetizer along with the stuffed avocado appetizer. They both were fantastic. We had their salad and soup. The salad had a dressing that I couldn't put a finger on, but it was great! The soup was delicious as well. For our entrées, we had the hibachi surf and turf and the hibachi seafood combination. So much food that we had to take it to go!!! Our server, Quintin, was excellent!!! He came over at just the right time all night. Drinks were filled, plates were cleared, and his positive energy was exactly what we needed!! There was only us and another couple there. That made the night great. I definitely am happy I found this place. The vibe was great. The music was at the perfect volume so that you can enjoy a conversation without yelling. We will be back!!

It was Valentines Day. Super busy so didn't expect things to go well and it didn't but we survived. Bleach blond Manager seemed to have little attitude considering "they" screwed up. I will know next year not to come for Valentines!

The service is super friendly from the moment you enter and throughout the meal, they have very friendly staff from Guatemala who make you feel at home and the food is very delicious.
