Second time having this place. Tired it after all the great reviews. First time was bland (ordered spicy) and very tough to peel. They also gave me a Idaho russet potato cut in half. I figured ok. They were having a off night. Ordered again today and got the worst crawfish I have ever had. Tasted frozen, mushy, and several rancid ones. They give us a red potato that was dirty and never washed. My wife took a bite and spit it back out after tasting dirt. Ordered the mushrooms and wow they were as bland as the crawfish. The corn had brown almost burnt spots on it. I am not one to not finish my food but I just couldn't power through this.

Friendly staff. Gumbo was tasty. The crawfish was spicy (they offer mild also) and very good. The crawfish were a decent size. Would do again.

The staff is great but the crawfish were terrible. The worst I’ve ever had and I’ve had A LOT of crawfish. The crawfish were NOT juicy, the spice was terrible. Tasted like they were over cooked and no juice in the heads or claws , the corn was decent and the potatoes were wayyyyy over cooked with no flavor! Very disappointed because we spent close to 90. For our 10lbs of crawfish. Never again for me!

Man they try. I spent over $100 and got literally half soggy crawfish and none of my seafood had flavor once so ever. From the shrimp to the crab!! Nada! I had to re-boil everything at home to even eat it. They were a good size but by far the worst I’ve had this season.

We had the most expensive item on the menu the seafood platter, 2 of those in fact! What a waste of good seafood! Our shrimp & crawfish were way over cooked. Rubbery, hard to peel and of course wasted because of it. The spice was just okay I’ve had way better. My corn and potatoes were flavor-less. The crab was okay I’m happy it wasn’t over cooked but I honestly won’t go back. The staff was very friendly and attentive I’ll give them 5 stars for good quality service on the friendly end. For the price of seafood you get once chance with me! $120 down the toilet!

We tried The Boiling Spot when our regular crawfish joint was over crowded. We were very pleased. We ordered crawfish, gumbo, shrimp fried rice and egg rolls. All of it was good. If they offered cheese enchiladas we might not ever have to go anywhere else again ???BYOB was a nice touch. The staff is friendly. A great hole in the wall find. Will return.
