We loved this little Gelato shop. Everything is fresh and fantastic. I purchased a biscotti for later and it was one of the best I have ever had. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend checking this place out.

Went on a Saturday afternoon with the kids, and it was so fun! The gelato was amazing, and they had 12 amazing flavors to choose from! Lorraine (owner) was at the shop and mentioned that she trained with real Italian artisans before opening, and it definitely shows!My son also has a peanut allergy, and since Lorraine makes the flavors herself, at the shop, she was able to confirm with me that no peanuts have ever been inside the equipment! She still has flavors with peanuts, but mentioned that they are added later outside of the gelato making machine. That is safe enough for us!Parking: I was a little worried about parking, but there was a lot (Tomball City Hall's) just off of the main road, right in front of Dottie's. So access was super easy!

I’ve been lucky enough to have had gelato at the top award winning gelato shop in Italy (there’s a yearly competition apparently) when traveling and I’ve never expected to taste anywhere near the same quality in the States. However, out of boredom my partner and I decided to go to Old Town Tomball today and wander around. We happened across Dottie’s. When looking at the options, I noticed the measurement marks on the outside of the gelato containers and asked the server if the gelato was homemade. She said yes it is. Well, to my surprise the gelato was incredible! Closest thing I’ve had in the U.S. to quality gelato I’ve had in Italy. It is all natural and homemade in small batches. Anyone looking for authentic gelato needs to come here. True hidden gem. Even thought I live about 40 minutes way, I will definitely be back.

Cute gelato shop tucked behind the antique shops on 2920 in Tomball. Went in thinking that we were going to get gelato and we ended up getting Italian ice it was so good! My daughter and I had strawberry lemonade ice, my husband had the butter pecan gelato. Grateful for the AC, we didn't have to eat our frozen treats outside like many places. Loved the cute decor of ice cream scoopers, how cute!!

Such a cute place! Best of all is the service! She was so kind to my baby and toddler. Really went above and beyond so I could catch a little break and enjoy my latte. Latte was perfect! Can’t wait to go back!

Love this little shop! They've been there for a couple years but we recently discovered them. We always support local so this has been such a great addition. It's family friendly and there's a really cute sitting area outside and around the corner. It's been so hot we've been sitting inside but it's still so cozy! The ice cream and Gelato is always great, their flavors are always different but have the staples consistently. Mint chocolate chip and the pistachio are my favorite, and surprisingly, I love the coffee!! I get it iced and it's better than the chains. They have a great expresso machine. Overall, I really recommend Dotties!
