Super good barbecue and chocolate! I’m not a huge fan of barbecue so I got the brisket nachos and they were amazing. The rest of my family loved the actual barbecue!

I went here several years ago and just realized that I hadn’t left a review so here goes: this place was AMAZING!! There was a line out the door and yes it took a while just to order but this was THE BEST BBQ I’ve ever had. Me and my husband still talk about this place. We live several states away and thought about making a special trip just to eat here again. If you are ever in the area this place is an absolute must! And the reason for my 4 stars on atmosphere is only because the tables were very close together and the place was packed! Would’ve loved more room to move around

An excellent dining experience... the 'Bird & Bacon' was excellent and the fried egg was a nice extra touch to the meal. I wish had gotten a photo but 'hunger' called.

Stopped in this afternoon on a week long tour of Houston area BBQ. Brisket was perfect, the barbacoa tacos were awesome, and I had the best Boudin I've found on this trip. Prices were reasonable, especially for the quality, and the service was friendly. Will be back someday, and will recommend to others.
Amazing food but 15% auto charged that isn't that clear. Just increase your prices. Secondly, for bbq it's small portions compared to others. Again, great food but hard to support those business practices. I prefer eating them more at events than going there now

I decided to go in since I was coming in to Tomball…I really like the carrot soufflé! I noticed that lunch seemed somewhat pricier than usual, and it isn’t cheap to begin with.The food was fine…I was irritated by having to find someone to give me one small container of bbq sauce on a to go order that included meat. Everything was alright, carrot soufflé excellent as usual.It was after this that I noticed a 15% charge on my bill…I hadnt Noticed it initially when I looked to see why so expensive, because I had also left a 15% tip (this is counter service, get your own drinks, flatware, condiments, etc). This is identified as a “service charge”. For what service? I assume this means “to pay our employees salary for us”.Bottom line, I paid 30% over and above an expensive meal for service that is the equivalent of any fast food or food truck setting.It’s possible there are signs, but I didn’t see any, and neither did a friend who’d been in earlier in the week and discovered this charge on her bill.So, beware of dining at this place and check your bill for any additional charges, etc, as who knows what or how much they might add next. Disappointed, but definitely won’t be patronizing in the futur….especially after reading the owners responses to other patrons.

Not sure how this place is highly rated. . Brisket tacos were very greasy and corn tortillas were too thick. Cornbread casserole was incredibly flat on flavor. We left not satisfied and definitely wont be back nor recommend this shop. Wish I would have read the business’s responses to other reviews before trying this place. They are very unprofessional.

Such a shame.Response to owner: sir with all respect the optics support your customers supplementing low wages. Would you not be better served to increase prices by 15% to achieve the same goal and eliminate poor customer opinion?

The food wasn’t hot and the cashier had a terrible attitude. Won’t go back. Spent too much money on mediocre bbq, hen I could drive down the road and find smiling faces, happy to be at work, and delicious bbq.
