This was the best Barbecue, I have ever tasted! My Husband likes too visit BBQ restaurants all over Tx, we have been married for 32 yrs. I hope you can imagine, a whole lot of places. So I had no real expectation, it was excellent! The beef Ribs are to die for; I kid you not! My new favorite place, for when company comes in to town.

This was my first visit to Tejas. I ordered moist brisket, turkey, pinto beans, and iced tea. The brisket was tender, juicy, moist, and had great bark. The turkey was tender & tasty but on the verge of being too dry. The pinto beans were thick, hearty, and had great flavor. The iced tea (sweet & unsweet) were just about perfect. They have indoor & outdoor seating. The service was fast & friendly. The prices are comparable to other barbecue joints. I got there about 15 minutes before they opened and it only took 20 minutes after they opened to order & get my food.

It was Taco Tuesday! Had three great tacos with whipped black beans on the side. All were great! Then purchased some of the chocolate "bombs" that they make. Rich and decadent!!! Great place!!!

Had a great visit to Tejas today. Their shop has a great ambiance in downtown Tomball within walking distance to shops and such with plenty of parking and both indoor and outdoor seating. Service was fast and friendly. Lastly, the bbq was amazing! The carrot soufflé had a very similar texture to sweet potatoes, so be forewarned if you don’t like those. The brisket and sausage were both excellent. The one thing I probably wouldn’t get again was the bacon slaw, but it wasn’t because it was awful, it just wasn’t my jam. All in all, I’ll be looking for a 2nd visit soon. Thx!

While they do sell "gourmet" chocolates, their BBQ is fantastic. The ribs are meaty and tasty. Various other BBQ dishes such as brisket, turkey, pulled pork and sandwiches.

I love the barbecue here and the sides can also make a great meal. The atmosphere is comfortable picnic style. There are several sauces and cuts of meat to try. Do that when you go Just order a ton of food and split it among your whole party. But, beware if my grand daughter is there she will steal all of the green beans. I might snake the carrot souffle. You will be stuffed but stop by the chocolate truffles counter and grab a little box of truffles for later. I prefer the nutty ones, gdaughters like the oreo and peanut butter ones.. No matter your taste you will find one you might just enjoy.

Read about place in Texas Monthly Top 50 so had to try. Very friendly people making some outrageously good BBQ! In my opinion better than Corkscrew, Feges, and Truth that I tried this year!

We’ve heard about it and had to give it a try. The meat is VERY tasty. Not over smoked, juicy, and so tender. It just has a very very good taste. The summer corn salad was very flavorful. The beans were good. We had pulled pork, brisket, and sausage links. Everything was just full of flavor. We got 4 different chocolates after (lavender, peppermint, bacon, and chocolate). The Frostbite (peppermint) was the best. Lavender was a very close second. We will return, there’s more on the menu we haven’t tried. It’s a little expensive, but everything is hand crafted, so it’s worth it.

My family was visiting Houston, staying in the Woodlands area and our host said when we wanted great BBQ to just let them know. Well we finally had some time and we met them at Tejas for what would be the best lunch we had the whole trip. I ordered a wet brisket sandwich and it was so tender, it was like biting through butter. Then I had some of the Chile Relleno Sausage and was blown away just how good that was. The prices did jump out at me when we ordered as a little more than I expected, but after the meal, I didn't mind paying for the quality of food we received. My wife and 2 kids under 10 enjoyed their meals as well. We can't wait to go back!

stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. First time visiting, as had read an piece about it in Southern Living Magazine We did not have to wait to long in line, maybe 20 minutes, It opened at 11 am, and we got there around 1140, and it was already busy. The chocolates are in the first cabinet you come to when going up to the counter to order you food. They have several different flavors. We choose the salted carmel and the Dulce de Luce. They were both very good. I ordered the brisket and blue salad. The brisket was excellent and the salads greens very fresh. My husband got a few of the meat items to try. The turkey, brisket and kielbasa The meat has a wonderful moist smoky flavor. None of it was dry and the brisket had some wonderful dark pieces on one of the pieces and that was vey good. My husband got a side of pinto beans, which he really enjoyed. They have beer, wine and frozen drinks as well. A children menu, and great sweet and unsweet tea. the BBQ sauce was very good, not a vinegar taste at all, but as most Texas BBQ, it is all about the moistness and smoky flavor. You should not have to use sauce on the meat if it is smoked correctly. They have plenty of seating indoors and out. the staff is very friendly. If in the area, give it a try, well worth it.

I am shocked. I left my review agreeing on the food was Salty and Overpriced. Tender, but I did not enjoy the taste nor the high Vinegar contents of the bbq sauce. The chocolate was ok. I posted his response., as it would be hard to imagine an adult handling issues as such.

After reading about this place in Texas Monthly we decided to drive here from Houston for lunch. We knew there would be lines so we got there right at 11am. Line wasn't terrible and we got food easily. Their chocolate is very tasty and creative. Love their wide arrange of flavors of truffles. Their BBQ was decent. I thought we would be blown away, and they did have excellent burnt ends, but the rest of our order was on par with other Texas style BBQ places. Better than the chains by far but I guess we are spoiled for choice in this corner of the BBQ world. They are also very expensive for the portion sizes you get so go into the experience knowing that. Friendly staff. A good amount of outdoor seating. Unfortunately, just not worth another hour drive for us. Definitely worth trying once.
