The service was great. But we knew immediately our total dinner experience might be lacking when the first thing out of our server's mouth after 'hello' was 'sorry; we're short handed tonight'. Food was okay. My fish was overcooked and the rice was cold. My husband's fajitas and rice were not exactly hot either. But bless her heart...she did her best.

Looked at the "specials" coming in the door and was seated immediately. Asked about Happy Hour (CLEARLY POSTED ON THE MENU) and was told there was not any specials! Asked about specials for food and was told there were none? Ordered beverages and waited for food and could NOT get any inquires answered. Food arrived and it was made incorrectly and we ordered two more drinks while we waited for our meals to get corrected. My twelve ounce beer was correct, but they brought my wife's beer out and it was a 7oz (for a rita) and was told that was same price. If you go there and spend your hard earned money, don't say I didn't warn you!

The name has changed so check it out. I'm not from the area. Wonderful food the whole family enjoyed and there were 8 of us! It was the first day under new ownership and they nailed it! The waitress and server were very attentive .

This is no longer Casa Ole!!! Still had some kind of green sauce but it was different... I ordered the Monterey Chicken with grilled vegetables and Charro beans. The beans were cold veggies were just warmed not grilled at all and cheese was not melted just microwaved on top. The only thing hot was the plate. I will say the sweet tea was good. So if your just thirsty and want mild green sauce then here is your place...

A little SECRET for you. Get the QUESADILLA THE OLD STYLE. It's NOT on the menu. You have to ask for it. You can get fajita beef, chicken or combo. It should come with beans and rice, also sour cream, pico-de-qio and guacamole in a side plate. It's better than the original quesadilla.I can't remember how much it cost, but I'm pretty sure it was under 10 bucks at 2pm. And in my opinion they have the best green sauce in Tyler.

My Dad, niece and I ate here and had the lunch specials. They came out really fast. They were good, the green sauce was nice and cold. I noticed the people around me got their food fast and hot. Our waiter was very accommodating and friendly. All in all, a good experience for TexMex when you're having a craving.

This place is GREAT! Their menu is impressive and diverse. I strongly recommend the Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast. Will definitely be going back.

We eat here all of the time. Literally my favorite Tex-mex. I was very disappointed last night to see staff members not wearing masks, especially since these two were interacting with customers. There is still a mask mandate in effect in TX for any counties with over 20 active cases. I expect businesses to be especially cognizant of this for the safety of their customers and other employees. One was hosting/seating/checking out guests, and one was dropping chips/salsa and bussing tables. When I asked our server (who was wearing a mask) why all employees were not, he said he didn't know. I guess that means no green sauce for me for a while until they can get their act together with safety measures.

This restaurant has changed its name to Don Benito’s so we were duped. Experience has it that I am not a fan of Casa Olé and the name change does not help the quality of food. We will not go back.

Still one of the best Mexican Food restaurants in East Texas! May be our favorite!

My top place for tasty mexican food. Great place to meet and catch up with friends. I had a cousin come into town and she asked me to go back here. Prices that are reasonable. Kinda of like a place in Houston that I enjoyed.

The service was great and the salsa was delicious and that's the only reason we give this 2 stars. The chili relleno was NOT a chili relleno and the chicken was that fake frozen stuff. The spinach in the spinach enchilada was that yucky canned spinach. The rice looked delicious, but was rather tasteless. The atmosphere was more Tex than Mex.The waitress was wonderful. She was cute and vivacious and did a great job.We didn't get to-go boxes.
