Ordered a cookie cake for my grandson's 9th birthday. The service was good and the cookie decorated just as requested. It was fresh and delicious! However, the cookies are so ridiculously thin, it was difficult to cut a slice without breaking. Come on GACC, for $40 bucks, seems like you could spare a little more dough!

I think what would be helpful is more people taking orders. Usually just one person and the line is so long. Need more people to help instead them all in back and not front. Would be very very beneficial and just let one person do the cakesWheelchair accessibility: Na

Ordered a cookie cake for my daughter and dad's birthday 3 days before pickup. Arrived to pick it up 2 hours before the celebration and it was the wrong size and wrong design on the front. The names were spelled correctly except for Papaw was spelled Pawpaw on the cake lol! I explained that I had purchased a large rectangle cake and she verified the size on the order and verified the design was the red truck instead of the snow globe that was on it. She apologized over and over and offered to remake the rectangle cake for me but it wouldn't be ready for at least an hour because they were still baking. I explained that with an almost hr drive to the location I didn't have time to wait. The reason for the 5 star review is because she allowed me to pick out other cookies to make up for the price difference between the cakes, and her customer service was just incredible! She was apologetic, understanding and just handled the situation the absolute best she could! You don't see this kind of concern and customer service in younger people now a days. I'm sorry I didn't get her name, but she was working the location by JCPenney's the night of 12/13. I hope that next time my order will be correct and that the manager will see this and coach the team to look more closely at the order forms before decorating the cakes. But, we had plenty of incredible tasting treats for everyone at the celebration and it worked out for us, so thank you!

Great American Cookies is the worst business I have dealt with in Tyler in quite awhile. Placed an order last week for cookie cake for child’s birthday to be picked up today. When placing the order last week, the worker was annoyed that he had to take a cake order so pawned the order off on new employee who was clueless about the order process. Fast forward to today and I arrived to pick up cake. To no surprise, my order was completely wrong and my cake had not been made. Employee behind counter had a very rude attitude and became surly and argued with me about my order and what cake I had ordered. Manager got involved but could clearly care less about providing decent customer service. She told me they were too busy to make the cake then and to come pack at 330pm and it may be ready. Upon returning, my cake of course was not ready. Got the same nasty attitude from the rude counter girl and the manager appeared despondent. After waiting for a bit, finally was able to pick up my cake. The attitude of the employees at this business is unacceptable and I hope to never return to this horrid business. Please support other local bakeries where the employees and management value your business more.

Over and over, order after order, Great American Cookie is the best!

Tried to order a cookie cake online this past Friday. I live in Florida and wanted to send one to my son for the birth of their baby. Order would not go through so I called the store directly. The person told me they were out of cookie dough (???) so the online ordering was shut off. Waited 2 days and ordered online this morning. My order went through, my credit card was charged and the delivery was to be at 4 pm. At 5:30 p.m. my son said it was not delivered. I called the store and the girl said there was no record of my order. While I was talking to her I checked my credit card. The amount of the cookie cake had been refunded. Obviously, prior to my call. I was not alerted. So frustrated as I wanted the arrival of my new baby granddaughter to be celebrated with the cookie cake. I will take my business elsewhere.

Would give 0 stars if I could. The Broadway square mall location across from chick fil a is absolutely horrible. The employees laughed and walked away from us while we were trying to order. Then the other employee said “hurry up b*tch”. The cookies tasted stale. Will not be returning!

Well Great American cookie cake in the Tyler square Mall has gone down hill. We recently had family in town who in the city they live in does not have a great American cookie and they were so excited to finally have a Great American cookie once again. we went to the mall three times each location in the mall did not have cookie cake slices. In one location they said it will be about 30 minutes so we hung out in the mall did a little shopping came back they still had no slices. On our last attempt the workers did not even stop taking knowledge are waiting in line one worker was on the phone the other one was helping a guest they didn't have any slices and said they weren't going to be making anymore so we went to the other location same issue. We understand places are understaffed and times are different however if you're known for your cookie slices and you don't have any available that becomes an issue.

Guessing the cookies would be good, the guy behind counter wouldn’t stop talking to the couple sitting at the table to help us. So we left

Ordered online 30 hours in advance. Showed up 30 minutes after the time I said I was. The girl at the front tells me they don’t have my order, as I try to show her the order she doesn’t even look and states “I’m sure you ordered but we don’t have it” “we will make it” and walked away. So I asked if they even had the design she said no. Ok so how are you going to make the cake with my order that you don’t have or me telling you what I want? Makes sense. So I tell them verbally what I want and the still manage to mess it up. I have ordered from here for 3 years in a row multiple times a year and never have had a problem. The manager on duty was absolutely useless and has a very bad attitude. She just stood there staring at the girl taking my order. When the manager was informed they didn’t have the size I wanted she said “oh well” the girl who fixed my cake managed to cut the cake to the right size. The manager on duty doesn’t like her job and you can tell.

Online ordering not working and no one answers the phone.

They always do a great job. A cookie cake is now a tradition for each birthday.
