We went there for the first time and explained to Henry, the gentleman working that it was our first time... he treated us as if we were his friends! He was so kind and helpful explaining dishes, portions, giving samples of a few different flavors of chicken salads. He alone made the experience a great one. But the food was very quick and so good! The portions are huge, so worth the price. Thank you to Henry for making this a new favorite place of ours.

If you decide to eat at Roost in Tyler, don't even bother going to the Roost on Od Bullard Rd. Roost on Troup Hwy is much better. For unknown reasons, at the Old Bullard location the service is bad and the portions are MUCH smaller. You would think that being the same restaurant chain everything would be the same, but it's not. No wonder the Troup Hwy location is so much busier

We had breakfast this morning. It was wonderful. I had the Breakfast BLT. The bacon was crispy, just how I like it. My husband had the Pancake and Egg Combo. He said the pancakes were the best he has had in a long time. I tried a bite of his seasoned potatoes. They were very good! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will be back soon!

There’s always a place that is reliable and offers great food and service. Roost is that place. It can get a little crowded for lunch, but they get you through quick.
