I've been a regular at this fantastic Mexican restaurant for two years, and it never disappoints! ? The chilaquiles and quesabirrias are must-tries, bursting with authentic flavors that whisk you away to Mexico. ??Yes, there's a wait during peak hours, but that's expected at any popular spot. Trust me, the delicious food is well worth the wait! ?If you love Mexican cuisine, this place is a real gem. Highly recommend checking it out! ?

Barbacoa is not suppose to be covered in grease. My breakfast taco tasted a bit of a cleaning product. This restaurant should not hav 4.7 stars, not even 1star. Disappointed in fake reviews!

We sat down, they took our order and brought out our coffee. We noticed everyone around had complimentary conchitas at the time of seating. We finished our coffee and no one ever came to check up on us for refills. 45 minutes we received a basket of chips and I had to ask for refills of everything. An hour after being seated we received our food and they told us to enjoy, we didn't receive utensils, we didn't get the salsas, our eggs were burned and had that burnt egg taste. My chicharron en salsa verde taste like tomatillo and cilantro. The chilaquilles rojos tasted like it came from a can of rotel tomatoes. Pretty upset at the service and quality of the food we received.

This was an amazing experience! I felt like I was at my grandmas house but the food was even better lol. The owner was so sweet I remember asking for some chile con queso she made it fresh right then and there. I also have NEVER liked any conchas until trying hers.

The best authentic Mexican restaurant in the area! Their tacos, Al Pastor, are hands down the best in San Antonio. House-made tortillas de maíz (corn) and harina (flour)! Their service is excellent, too! a family-owned, family-operated business that loves to serve its community! #

I like to try local mom and Pop places I saw a posting with pictures of the food so I decided that I was going to go try it for breakfast on Sunday morning. Upon arriving, everything seemed OK from the outside trying to open the front door It was very hard and you had to yank on it. The restaurant is an old converted house so there is settling and that’s not that big a deal. Open the door smell was so bad. I almost turned around and walked away but by the time I got here I was pretty committed in wanting Breakfast. I never truly got used to the smell. I got the American breakfast, which was pretty good I will admit. Sitting here eating they have music playing on the TV which is extremely loud. I’m looking around the floor is dirty inside the cabinet on the bottom shelf where they have their baked goods is dirty. The air intake vents on the wall are disgusting. There’s only two other tables, besides mine that have people. I understand that the sewage smell might just be something that came up and needs to be addressed, but they shouldn’t open. If it’s going to be like that I would definitely not come back just because they allowed the smell. So I got up to pay and I got a couple of cookies from their little bakery section to try and I asked the girl about the smell and she tried to I guess, pretend like she didn’t understand me and I said is that smell always here, and she kind of giggled and said yes. That was the nail in the coffin for me which is too bad because it was a cute little place and the food was good.
