Such a special place! They treated us like royalty and like best friends. Super helpful and kind. Their wine is superb and time spent here is always special and a highlight of our weekend. We stopped here 3 years ago on a multi-stop winery anniversary weekend and this time it was our only stop. You will not regret going here!

This place is gorgeous! It’s a house with beautiful scenery owned by a retired black doctor.I enjoyed the live music!Their wine taste great and the staff were nice.I was really disappointed by the charcuterie board, it definitely wasn’t worth the price.Make sure you bring bug spray if you want to take pictures by the vineyards!Overall It was an okay experience. I love supporting black owned business??

Location is very inviting. Service was not very good. The service we received look very different from the service around us. The charcuterie board we ordered was underwhelming and overpriced for what was on it. Was a nice day outside the day we were there and we were not offered outside seating.

Great tasting room, friendly helpful employees. Very nice vino, though like most wines in Texas costly due to small production

Ambiance was nice. Service was okay. No music , just long tables with different people tasting wine. They didn't have much options as far as different wines. A bit pricey. They only served cheese and crackers, but overall nice birthday experience.

Such a nice, friendly atmosphere. Wines were top notch. A hidden gem to get away from the city.
A hidden gem in NTX indeed!!! If only I could give this winery 15 stars I would. Debra was an ABSOLUTE delight to work with as she helped me coordinate my visit there for my 15 friends. Such a kind, humble team there who cares about delivering exceptional customer service. They made sure we had a wonderful time. The tastings and food were delicious. And the view of the lake was just such a lovely backdrop. This is a must visit!!!

We visited on a Saturday afternoon for wine tasting flights as part of the North Texas Wine Trail. We chose to make a reservation in advance, and they seated up with no problems, despite being a few minutes late. There is a main tasting room and back patio, plus the swimming pool. You do have a view of the lake from the tasting room. Ample free on-site parking. Our server was very knowledgeable about the wine and there were many choices - you chose from 3 pre-selected flights. I preferred the white wines. The ambiance is upscale inside, more casual on the patio. It can be loud inside when it gets crowded.

Super delicious wines with fantastic staff and beyond beautiful views. This family owned winery is a must-see if you are in the area. The food selection is great for a snack at a winery and the wines are all really good.

Myself, my two daughters, and my two cousins, visited this lovely vineyard on Sunday. The service was amazing. The view was stunning. The wine wasspectacular. The winery is about an hour from Dallas, but it is well worth the drive. I must say the service competed with the wine as my favorite thing during the visit. The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel right at home. They have a pet friendly patio. They had a young man who was singing and playing the guitar. We will definitely be returning for another trip. Daygin was absolutely delightful. She was young, but very well versed on the winery and its history. Debra was amazing. She explained the qualities of each wine we tasted and gave us a full history of the grounds and the beginning of the vineyard and winery. If you are looking for a great location to gather with friends and receive excellent service, this is the destination for you! I will definitely be returning soon. Driving to Frederiksburg is no longer my go to location for a day trip to a great Texas vineyard. I can do that at The Edge of the Lake!!
