I got the two meat Plat and half rack of ribs. Ribs tasted just the way my dad makes them in the oven great ribs. Sausage didn't wow me, but good. Brisket was nice and moist, but no flavor. I guess your supposed to put bbq sauce on it, not me, don't like sauce. But the cabbage was awesome wooooow. Need to learn how to make it powerful and taste past on point.beans are very good, but cabbage blew my mind. All in all, I will be back for more.
When we first walked in it was busy but we were surprised we got to order quickly! We noticed it was very clean from ordering to sitting down to eat. The Sweet Tea is amazing! The meats! The sides! East Texas has lost a few good barbecue restaurants over the last few years, but Soulman's is still standing, still proud and still going strong! Try the two-meat plate with the sliced brisket and the sausage links; it's my favorite!Vegetarian options: Frankly, if you're a vegetarian, then you're in the wrong place. The meats are scrumptious, though!
