Don’t be fooled by the outside (or the inside) when you walk in… This was a fantastic seafood meal. I have to admit, I almost thought about walking out when I was first seated because it didn’t look like much of anything on the inside, including no bar area: traveling alone on business, I usually just cozy up to a bar in a corner and enjoy a beer or two and watch whatever ballgame might be on TV while I have my meal. in this case, I was seated at a booth adjoining another booth of three older, very loud patrons that kept me from having a peaceful meal. There were two TVs in opposite corners of the dining area, and I couldn’t hear or really see either one of them well. The dining area was rather cavernous, and all seating for this Thursday evening was limited to the middle part of the restaurant.Service was quick, and I really wanted a beer, but there were no draft options (and no craft options, just the usual domestic caps), so I settled for a water. When the server came back, I asked about the seafood Po’boy, and she told me that she’d never seen anyone actually order one. I asked her what people usually get, and she mentioned a few of the combo plates, but I really didn’t want a fried fish unless I could have it in a sandwich… so I ordered the blackened red snapper with shrimp étouffée, with a baked potato and grilled veggies on the side, and a side of coleslaw. It may have been one of the best fish dishes I’ve ever had, the étouffée was perfect. Even the baked potato, just with butter and sour cream, was perfectly cooked, very soft. The coleslaw was also outstanding. It was all a very generous portion, well worth a $20.99 price.Based on the food alone, I would definitely come back to this place. It was recommended by my hotel, and worth the 10-minute drive to get there.

Good food. Prices are high, but so is everywhere else. The waiter was excellent.Three stars because the menu doesn't have enough choices and the bathroom needs updating.

Food: Would be a 5 star but gets 4 because they dont have homemade tarter sauce and the ketchup is super cold...like who wants cold kethcup on hot fries...better to go with packets or just heinzService: It was fair, the server was always calling out or addressing me as she approached from behind so I was always turning around like "is she talking to me?" lol but she did a great job serving us so she gets a 5Host: I think some training there would be encouraged. First she asks the basic 2 questions. "How many?" and then "Booth or table?" but then she just walks to a booth and tosses the menus down and says nothing. It was just strange because usually hostess are like " your waiter will be with you shortly" and then prior to leaving she was telling everyone who left to "have a great day and thanks for coming" but when we left, nobody said anything to us.This was my second time there, the first time the host was better, service is always been good, food is great, but for the love of God, this [place would be 5 star if yall made a homemade tarter sauce recipe.
