I always have called in to place an order over the phone mind you it was 7:30 and the girl who answered asked me to hold so she could take my order & she came back on the line to say her manager said it was too busy I would need to do the order myself online (couldn’t find that option on their website) or go in. I go over there and it was not busy the manager was joking around with a girl in the front register which was another employee and she was like help her and he’s like no you I’m going to make the tea. So she helps me and i sit in the waiting area for a while and a couple walked in it was 8:30 and they were turned away by the manager because they were about to close and stopped taking orders. Yall close at 9. Never have I ever seen this happen in the years that I’ve been a customer. Dockside needs to look into that. Poor customer management skills

New to Victoria and we wanted to try this place, at first it didn't seem like a good place to eat, but we ordered anyway, turned out to be a great place to eat, the food was amazingly great and the waiter was very attentive to our needs, the cashier not so much she was kinda rude not patient as it was our first time there we didn't know the process, but all in all we had a great dinner and definitely recommend this place.

Our first time at this place and it did not disappoint!We ordered the snow crabs, 1 lbs of shrimp, added the extras, all in Cajun seasoning, hot! It was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked!! We also had the crab franchise fries, and those were sinfully food!Service was excellent and very informative! Food came our significantly quick!Will definitely come back and will bring friends!(Should’ve taken a picture of the food, but forgot)Parking: Plenty of parking since the restaurant is part of a large plaza with Ashley furniture!

So my husband and I travel and have the opportunity to try all kinds of food. Seafood is our main food group we eat ALL the time. So when i say this was the best seafood boil I have EVER had, i mean it . The most delicious flavor we got the mangers special it's a mix of the lemon pepper- cajun mix. I will crave this sauce when we move. I'm not even kidding. He had the king crab with 1 sausage 1 corn 1 potato. I had the king crab with crawfish 1 potato, and we did the Wednesday special on the shrimp to share. They really hooked it up. The staff were very friendly, the building was clean, and it looked great. It definitely won't be the last time we will be going back multiple times before we move. I can't get enough thanks yall for all yalls amazingness.

We had heard about this restaurant from our daughter. We got there for an early dinner, so we were the only customers there. The first thing we noticed is it's clean, and very hospitable. The decore makes for a more nostalgic feel. We get to the counter and the man explains how the boil bags are ordered. I had gotten a pound of crawfish, a pound of mussels 1/2 pound of shrimp, 2 small red potatoes and a half a corn on the cob. My husband had gotten the same except he got crab instead of mussels, and sausage. The man at the counter suggested the manager special for the sauce. It is a Cajun lemon pepper seasoning. You get to pick your spiciness, there is mild, medium and hot. My husband and I both chose medium. We also both got a soda. We paid $99, it sounds expensive, but well worth it. We will go about 1-2 times a month. They line the table with wax paper, so you can dump the bag out and eat. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I brought some home for my daughter. I warmed it up in a 320⁰ oven covered for 10 minutes. She loved it too. So we fed 3 people with all that we had. They also have outdoor dining if you prefer. There's a deep sink to wash your hands after you eat. You definitely get messy.Parking: There are plenty of spaces to park in.

I have eaten crawfish all over South Louisiana and Southeast Texas and never had any as good as Dockside Boiling Pot…! They peal easier than anywhere I’ve ever been to and flavor is probably the Best I’ve ever had…!

The shrimp ,crab and crab poppers were amazing! I do have a suggestion though since there are no options of sides without carbs, I would so like to see a side salad or slaw without added sugar! Some of us just cant have carbs (diabetics)Dietary restrictions: Need less carb sides, need side salad

id give it a 0 star rating but that's not an option. highly disappointed in the service here!! the food was underwhelming to say the LEAST. the customer service is definitely subpar. honestly save your money and your time and dine elsewhere. not worth the trip. there are plenty of other great restaurants in victoria. this ain't one of em!!
