We were looking for a lighter fare. Tokyo Grill did not disappoint. We had the traditional hibachi prepared surf and turf. My filet was outstanding. So tender and juicy flavor was amazing. The shrimp were also yummy. My husband had the Kobe steak and lobster. Both were soo good. We highly recommend this restaurant!

I ordered seasame shrimp and my husband ordered orange chicken. They both came out drowning in a sauce that tasted the same and was so salty I couldn't eat it. And the shrimp was tough. Fried rice was an extra charge and even though it tasted better it was also too salty. I like well seasoned food! This was wayyy too much! Pricey too.

I just want to start this by saying we have been very loyal customers that have come to this Establishment weekly if not 4-6x a month traditionally. We use to have amazing service and a staff who cared about us and believe me we always tip over 30% +. Unfortunately they have lost their Best Employees and the staff and bartender are really bad and careless now and can truly care less about the customer. Items we ordered every time and I mean even a week ago but now they don’t have it or they have staff who doesn’t even know what we are talking about. We got over charged by their new bartender Haley by $30-$40 charging for the wrong wine and telling us she doesn’t know she just looks at the menu and guessed which one. She is always eating behind the bar while serving as well which is extremely gross to Us and unprofessional as any type of food industry server. Truly bad experiences the last 2 times and now when we try and order take out it is even worse. So unfortunate as we use to love the food and eating there weekly and seeing great staff. Truly now that Jordan has left there is absolutely no reason to sit or go to the bar and don’t dare try and order anything to drink besides a bottled beer. No draft was working last time and she kept trying to serve me Michelob when we requested Miller Light. I’m sorry but you lost very loyal customers and we ate there a lot with our friends and family. Never again sadly.

For the first time today, I had no desire to eat the rice. They've swapped out the butter with oil. It was soggy, and flavorless. I also don't know why they bother to ask how you want the steak cooked, if they're going to cook everything well done.

We almost walked out the first time we visited because the little girl at hostess stand ignored us for three minutes, even though we were the only customers and we were standing right in front of her. Once she decided to seat us, she acted as if we were a nuisance.The sushi and bento were good, so we decided to give them another try. Same girl with an even worse attitude. We walked out this time. Maybe we’ll check back in six months to see if the owners figure out that people avoid this place because of the attitude.

We stopped here to break up an especially long drive from Corpus to Houston so the kids could get a break from the car. We waited about ten minutes, but the food came out quickly. Everything was very tasty. I recommend the vegetable spring roll, yakisoba, and the Bento box that included sushi, soup, rice, tempura, and a protein. We will come back again and check out the hibachi table the next time we are in town.

Plating was nice, but the taste was bland. Shrimp was small inside a thick layer of fried crust. Had soft shell crab which was so greasy. And also mostly crust. Waitress never checked on me until I requested my ticket. Guess I’m used to great sushi at Tokyo Beaumont or mid county.
