“My wife and just ate here for the first time on a family members recommendation. We shared the Treasure Bites and fried jalapeños. She had the chicken fried steak with white gravy, mashed potatoes, and green beans. I had the chicken fried chicken with brown gravy, macaroni and cheese, and onion rings. It was all delicious. The staff was friendly, attentive, fast and very capable as I witnessed several of them multitasking no problem. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing which was perfect for us. We live all the way in Groves but the drive was worth it and we'll be going again very soon!“

“All I can say is truly an enjoyable meal. They have one of the largest selection of Burbons that I've seen in a while. The bartenders are definitely well versed in the knowledge of Burbon. They offered a side Cesar salad as a side instead of fries. It was served in a dinner plate. No small portions and one of the best salads I've had.“

“I have multiple food allergies that can de nerve wracking trying to eat somewhere new. We were staying at the hotel next to this restaurant, and I was tired from being on the road most of the day. I called over and spoke with a manager to see if they would be able to accommodate my many allergies. And I was presently surprised to find out I would have a variety of options, this is rare for me.So we walked over to the restaurant a few hours later. The manager I spoke to on the phone told me to let my waitress know that I needed to talk to him to order. Well Adriana, the manager, was delighted to help prepare me a meal that I wanted and double and triple checked ingredients to make sure it would be safe.My meal was really yummy and safe! And my partners meal looked and smelled amazing even if I couldn't eat it.We had the fried mozzarella balls to start, and then I had the chicken & shrimp combo with broccoli. There was no wait, but we still chose to sit at the bar. & Luckily we did, because we got to be waited on by Crystal & she was awesome!!!! Highly highly recommend every Tia Juanita's establishment. “The food was excellent as always. The service however, was a disappointment. I really wanted to call management about the treatment of a young lady who was obviously new and learning the front area. I decided against it because I figured they wouldn't really care how it affected my visit. The young lady was ridiculed, berated and embarrassed in front of customers ordering to-go items. She really was trying to help. If I owned a business I would have offered her a job. No one deserves to be treated that way at a place of employment.“

“I got an order for take out and I have 0 complaints. We are a family of 8 and paid about $80 total which is a good price. We ordered the prawn shrimp (DELICIOUS!) 2 orders of the pork Vietnamese spring rolls, 1 order of the lemongrass beef and vermicelli noodles, 1 lg order of combination fried rice, and 2 orders of the hot & spicy pork noodle soup. One order of The noodle soup is enough for 2 people to share unless you want leftovers. All of the portions were big and shareable. I loved that the soup came with sauces, spices, seasonings and veggies to add in how you want it.We have struggled to find a take out place we actually like since living here for 5 years. Sweet basil is one of our favorites but someone recommended this place and we love it“

“I'm in Beaumont a few times a year. I ALWAYS stop at Floyds when I am there. Honestly, it is the best thing that Beaumont TX. has going for it. My meal always includes their wonderful crab bisque and I usually have a fish steak- Tuna, Sword, etc blackened with the veggie side. They just do this so well. Every meal- and I have had quite a few over the last 12 years of going there, has been awesome! I recommend Floyds to all of my friends that come into TX. via I-10.“

“Came across Logon Pub on our roadtrip. We stayed at a motel nearby and almost called it quits for the night since it seemed like not much going on in the area, when we saw the pub was nearby and went in. We were welcomed so kindly by Chantelle and had some great chats with her and Tim who then also gave us some amazing tips where to go on our following trips. There was lovely live music which we really enjoyed and the atmosphere was great. We also got some delicious tacos and treats. We were so happy to have made that stop and met these nice people.“

“April 6th, 2024 visit. A very unpleasant experience at DaddiO's. The manager must have been off for the weekend. There were plenty staff members in the service area, but no one was caring about the customers. Hot alcoholic beverage with no resolution and a 40 minute wait for our order. No customer was receiving their order in the entire dining area. The food was cold and dry with zero taste and a $35.00 bill which is not bad if the food is quality, but a total fail and a very unpleasant experience. Unacceptable. The crew was just fooling around. I wish Willie Burger was still open. I do hope the owner views this post. My reviews are rarely negative. and I do give credit when it is deserving.“

“When my husband I first arrived the smell of Fabulousa was the first thing I noticed. I didn't particularly like it but at least we knew the store had been cleaned. We were greeted and seated upon arrival. I ordered the house margarita and chile con queso( I got the regular and white mixed). I can say that the queso dip and the margarita were the best I ever had! My husband got the Chimichanga dinner and he loved it as well. When we visited it was my birthday, my husband asked the waiter to sing to me but he and the group of servers went to the table behind us and put the sombrero on the lady behind our tables had and gave her the cake. It gave us a good laugh. The only thing I will say negative is that the servers don't speak or understand English very well so if orders are complicated they may not be able to understand.“

OH my goodness, the sandwich was spectacular. It was moist, juicy, smoked to perfection, with some of the greatest bbq sauce I have tasted in a very long time; not too sweet, not too spicy, it was literally just right. Extremely succulent. “Disclaimer: this review was written by a South Carolinian, where Mexican restaurants are very hit or miss compared to Texas, but we found this place to be delicious. Everything tasted like it was made fresh and full of flavor, right down to the salsa and tortillas. Margaritas were not watered down either. Make sure you ask for their hot sauce - also house made and delicious! I got the Pollo Cilantro and forgot to take a photo at the beginning, so here it is half eaten. My husband got the California Burrito and said it was the closest thing to his favorite burrito of all time from Salt Lake City. Glad we found this place!“

“I've always heard how good Ralph and Kacoos were and I've wanted to try them for over 20 years, probably more! But, I lived in Houston and it was on the other side of town and never went out of my way to make that drive. Then they opened one in Galveston, but never made that either. Finally got to try this one in Beaumont where the old Steakhouse was. Waking in we were promptly greeted and asked if we wanted a table or booth. We usually always go for the booth, so booth it was! Our server came to the table and was very friendly and outgoing. She got our drink orders and came right back. She then asked about appetizers. So we ordered the Firecracker Shrimp and also the Swamp Bites (fried Alligator nuggets) for our 8 year old. We also tried an order of two each of their four different kinds of grilled oysters. Two were garlic butter and Parmesan, two were topped with a crabmeat mixture, two were oysters Rockefeller, and two were topped with cheese and jalapenos! They were decent with my favorite being the jalapeno cheese! For our dinners our 8 year old had fried shrimp and fries off of the kids menu. My wife decided on the shrimp and grits, I ordered the Delta combo of catfish fillets and oysters. The Firecracker Shrimp were really good, but not a lot of them. Our 8 year old ate the entire appetizer of fried alligator!!! We had to get a side of ranch to dip it in because he didn't care for the Hollandaise sauce that came with it. My wife's Shrimp and grits were just ok, she was a little disappointed that it looked like they just put ettouffee over grits with shrimp! I tasted it and I didn't really care for it because when you've had great Shrimp and Grits you compare everything else to that. My Delta combo had two catfish fillets and 6 oysters with fries, plus two hush puppies. Now in most places you go that have seafood they offer combo platters of try items of your choice at a set price. Here they charge you for the cost of a platter of one item and then add six dollars and change to that. So somewhere else you might pay $22-23 Dollars for a combo platter. Here at R and K's your going to pay around $26-27 dollars for a combo platter that didn't have as much as other places. My catfish was not fresh and was tough around the edges, the oysters were a little overcooked. I also love Tarter Sauce with my seafood. I didn't care for theirs at all. It just didn't have much of a taste to it. So when you're used to eating good seafood when you've grown up around it all your life and you know what it's supposed to be like, you're going to be a little disappointed with seafood here. Now I think of all those years wanting to try R and K's only to find out it wasn't quite what you expected.I didn't mind driving two hours for great seafood. And there are quite a few really Good places two hours from me.“

“I've been going to Coastal Seafood, more since the late '90s when I returned from Illinois. The thing is, I grew up in Beaumont, and Coastal Seafood was there when I was a kid. I would go there with my grandparents and my parents. The food has always been good, and the counter service also. The menu is fairly large, so it may take you a bit to figure out exactly what you want. The Cajun and Seafood dishes are really good, the portions are large, so despite the pricing, you'll probably get two or three servings out of an order. I recommend Coastal Seafood!“

My waitress, Shadow, brought me some gravy to appease my chicken fried chicken hunger, which went great with those hot rolls! As you can see I could not eat all of it and had to take half of it home. They have the best chicken fried Chicken in Jefferson County!“

The interior and seating were great: surprisingly comfortable and clean considering this is primarily a takeaway restaurant. If you have the time- definitely dine in and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
