Delicious, authentic and friendly. The food and restaurant facilities are super clean as well which is much appreciated. Our children (10 and 7) devoured the chips and trio of sauces--best guac and queso I've ever had. The chef made a custom shrimp taco for my picky daughter who said it was the best. The various tacos we ordered were tasty and fresh. It is obvious that they cook with love and good taste. What a perfect lunch we had passing through Waco today!

Update; returned and tried the Pescodo Verecrusado. Cod in a spicy sauce with veggies over rice. Kudos to the chef. The food was delicious, my only recommendation is that portion sizes could be a little bigger. Will go again.

I don't leave a lot of reviews, especially for restaurants, but WOW! This place is amazing! We started out with the chips and dips appetizer and were immediately impressed with the flavors and authenticity. Guacamole was spicy perfection. Drinks came shortly after that, and the spicy margaritas have got to have some extra carino mixed in because it tasted like love. The main entrees were carne guisada and Bistec Ranchero. The flavors were bold, the spices were perfect, the whole experience was exceptional. Although we were just passing through today, this place is definitely worth the 2 hour drive to revisit!
Best al pastor I've ever had! It gets me every time. On top of having an open and very inviting setting, the owner was the one cooking in the back, and honestly everything I've had here is not only absolutely delicious, but also the presentation was well thought out!
