In my opinion, great Cajun food. Small shop with a neat ambiance. You order at a slide window when I went. The owner came out and talked for a while with us. I thought that was super cool. Super chill and gave off good vibes. I hope you have the same experience when you visit.

I was a first-time visitor and had driven by many times, but this time I decided to stop for lunch. When you first go in, you have to order at the counter and pay, and then sit down. There was plenty of other seating, but I chose to sit in the area near the entrance. The jambalaya and other food was absolutely great. While I was eating, the chef came out and inquired about my food and my experience. Overall, I had a pleasant meal there.

Mashed with boudin gravy, great. Softshell crab basket very good. Quaint little place with good Cajun food at reasonable prices.

Stopped in on our way back home from Dallas. We enjoyed both our meals, but especially the Étouffée. The Cajun corn was also amazing. Only thing this place is missing is beer and wine or BYOB option. Cajun spice washed down with and Anita beer, yum!

Thursday was our first time to visit Cajun Craft. Super friendly guy at counter. Ordered cajun corn to start and it was scrumptious! We also shared a small bowl of gumbo and a fried catfish basket. Fish and fries was fresh and crispy. Gumbo bowl very tasty. We sat outside on the patio on a beautiful day and a very nice gentleman check on us several times. Only thing missing was a cold beer. Didn't know it was a BYOB, so next time we're bringing a six pack and everything will be perfect. Will definitely be back!

Good but expected better. Plenty of outdoor seating a few inside. Food - New Orleans Trio ($22.00), Gumbo not too flavorful (expected better), Crawfish Ettouffee' ok, Red Beans & Rice boring, no flavor, disappointing. Just looked like canned kidney beans with white rice. - Fried pickle spears were good ($8.50) - Fried chicken was good, not mind blowing. - Fried shrimp was plump and great flavor. Fried okra was good as well, not slimy. - Beignets was amazing and covered with powdered sugar. The best thiunbg we had here. ($5.25) - Bread pudding had good flavor but too mushy for us. ($6.50) The food too quite a while to get once ordered and thew service was ok. I would probably go back but have had much better Cajun food.

The place is very beautiful. The food was amazing! I got the jambalaya and it was so flavorful. My family got the catfish basket and the breading on the fish was like no other. The Chef himself came out and greeted us and he was so nice! The staff was also nice and I will definitely be coming back!

The owner and managers went above and beyond for our first experience. The staff is very caring of every customer. Catfish was amazing and it deserves a lot more credit along with the homemade beignets!! If you’re in Waco, this is the place!
