Just ordered 3 burritos, 33 dollars, and there is way more tortilla than food. Absolutely horrible. I used to eat here and it was worth it. Not now.

Ok, first things first. This place is a little hole in the wall. If you judge by the outside looks, you'll miss out on some really good food. Secondly, if you don't speak fluid Spanish, there's a small language barrier. They understand English but seem to get mixed up with certain parts of ordering sometimes. For example we ordered to eat there, but it was served to go. No problem for me, I'm pretty patient with restaurants. If you can get past that and are still unsure. Just order a breakfast burrito. It will make you want to try the rest of the menu. The tortilla is so soft and fresh, the inside steaming hot.( My wife was impressed as well with how fresh it was) The eggs are not overcooked, green and red salsa to smother it in. Chips and salsa are delicious with a wonderful warm salsa and Waco famous Jessie's Tortilla Chips served with it. Even with the language barrier, this place was well worth it. It is a little pricey, but as a chef, I understand prices are still high for businesses. It costs a lot to run a restaurant. And in the end, what you pay for is a good meal, and that's exactly what I got... a very good meal. ? I will be back to try more of the menu. Looking forward to it.

Best menudo in Waco hands down. The broth is so flavorful and they give plenty of meat and hominy. Added bonus they serve it daily! The staff is always kind and the atmosphere is definitely mom & pop, family friendly. Highly recommend.

Wow, I didn't know this place existed! This showed up on my DoorDash home page and I thought? A new place to try burritos and menudo, why not? I like to support our local businesses. Anyways, I ordered 2 burritos, a breakfast with egg, potato, sausage, beans and a barbacoa with rice, beans. Also a large menudo and a huevos rancheros with sausage. The burritos are HUGE! The tortilla you know is homemade and soft and fluffy and giant! Both of my burritos were delicious. One thing of note is they were not greasy at all! Usually there's grease dripping, at least especially if it's barbacoa, but both burritos were well assembled and soft and deliciousl The ingredients were spot on. Sometimes when I order barbacoa from restaurants it's usually a crapshoot, because sometimes the meat may be soft and sometimes dry. Fortunately it was soft and delicious! The menudo however, is also sometimes a crapshoot when I order from places as well. Today, the tripe, although cut into bigger pieces than other places, most were a too tough and chewy. The huevos rancheros looked good. So definitely come here for the huge burritos! You got some competition Lolita!! I don't have photos today because I was hungry!!!!

Never made to feel more uncomfortable somewhere. I was made to feel like I was not welcome to be in this establishment. I was so flustered by this experience I forgot my wallet and my Coke at the register. I won't be back and will continue to support mi Raza where I feel welcomed. Food was a 5/10.

I tried this place for the 1st time. Garibaldi was recommended to me by a staff member at work, when I asked where could I get good menudo. She was right! It was very, very good!
