Long lines = Long waits. Crowded and food was ok. There is no way the cola is a name brand, so stick with the tea.

Always a home run or touchdown when visiting George's. My safety is number one. I always feel safe and secure at either location. Great place to have parties, dinner, lunch, or breakfast. Great place to meet new people and all the usual. For relaxing and business meetings. It is one of my favorite places for family and friend gatherings. Gotta love Waco locals❣️God bless us all❣️?❣️?❣️Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free

The food and drinks were wonderful, and the pricing is shockingly low! The area we were in was very loud, but to be fair, it was near the bar. The server we ended up with was fantastic, but the initial person who helped us was not so. Be consistent. The coconut shrimp, do it! The potato skins, do it!

We visited George's about 2 weeks ago for an early dinner/late lunch. We were a group of 6 tourists (4 adults with 2 teens/tweens) looking to go where the locals go. It was casual and very laid back.We had a short wait for a table. Service was great the entire meal. The menu had so many options, it was hard to choose. We started with some adult beverages (they do to-go cups!) & appetizers but never made it to dessert because we were just too full.-Chris' Sampler-Smoked Nachos-Classic Burger with fries-Big "O" Chili Dog with fries-Big "O" Philly Cheesesteak x2 - one with fries and with sweet potato casserole-Shrimp & Grits-can't remember what the last member of our group orderedIf we ever find ourselves in the area again, we'd definitely stop in. Go Baylor!Parking: We snatched up the last space and they weren't packed so I imagine it can get tough on busy days. However, they do seem to own the property across the street so I imagine you could always park there.Kid-friendliness: Our teens/tweens enjoyed their burger and chili dog.

Service was great, but my chicken sandwich was cold and soggy! The fries were hot!

For a place known for their drinks (Big-O glass mug with beer or other drink), the food isn’t too bad. We had lunch specials - chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken. Lunch specials come with two sides and there is a large selection. We chose steamed broccoli, sweet potato casserole and French fries. We also shared a Big-O Shiner Bock (18 oz.)Parking: Several free lots surround George’s and banquet hall

Their breakfast is awesome. Their dinner is awesome. The food is great, and their prices are great. I've tried almost everything on their breakfast menu and you cannot go wrong with anything there. I've had their chicken fried steak for dinner and it was among the best I've had. Their onion rings are phenomenal as well.Parking: Parking right by the restaurant, with another across the street and a third beside it. Even at their busiest, we've still found parking.

Fun place with great food, nice servers and a tip always order the small chicken fried steak not the big one the big one is Texas sized and can't be eaten in a single serving

My favorite restaurant in Waco. George's never disappoints. I had some guests in from Georgia and needed a varied menu. We visited on a Friday lunch and several of our group took advantage of the daily special of Catfish with sides. They carried on about how crispy and flaky the fish was and absolutely loved George's Onion Rings. George's is a longtime Waco destination eatery and we have often traveled from Dallas just for lunch or dinner. On past visits we sampled many other items. I can strongly recommend the Crazy Wings. A delicious Chicken ball of goodness. With melty cheese and Jalapeño mmmm ?
