Wow! I love this burger. Long line for the food (Good sign!!) the line moves fast too, when I got to the front my food was ready. Great service. Definitely try this local favorite (Top 50 TX BBQ). I got the burger and it competes with the greats for sure!They also have an outdoor seating area as well.

Let me start by the saying the flavor of the Thursday Filipino fusion special is A1!! Absolutely amazing . The only downside is it comes cold. I know with BBQ it isn’t necessarily “ to order “ but the burnt ends and the rice were cold . You could tell the rice went through it a little bit and were filled with crunchies. For the price , I just expect it to come warm at least .

The brisket was excellent but the experience was confusing. We showed up and the front door was locked. People sitting outside told us it’s drive through only since the building was closed due to a fire (sorry to hear about that). I did notice a “Drive Thru Now Open” sign but the sign didn’t indicate that that was the only option and that the dining room was closed. After closer inspection, on one of the windows, there is a paragraph written about the fire, etc., but it’s easy to miss.So we drove around back and placed an order with a nice young lady. She handed me the card reader and told me the words no one wants to hear: “It’s going to ask you a question…”. I’ve never been a fan of businesses asking for counter service or drive through tips. It feels cheap and manipulative. (Chick Fil A actually deserves to get tips because they always have the best service, but even they don’t ask. But I digress.)So after saying no to the question their card reader asked, I pulled up to the side of several food trucks. There was no signage. No explanation on what to do next. A few employees were shuffling around so I got out of my car and asked, “What do I do now? Do I walk up to the counter of the food truck?” The employee told me to wait in my car and they would bring me my order. Again, a clear sign would have been helpful.Got my food. It was really good. So yeah the food was 4 stars but the experience more like 1 star.

Despite their setbacks with the fire and now waiting on their new location to be built, they still serve amazing food and service. I love this BBQ family. Their daily specials are fun and delicious. If you can go on a Friday and get their burger. It is literally the best burger I have ever ate. ?

We were vacationing at Lake Waco and got advice that Helberg BBQ was the best bbq in the area. We ordered the brisket & ribs with condiments & bread. I can say we were not disappointed. The BEST BBQ we have had in Texas. We are thankful for the advice to try Helberg & would recommend to anyone. The smoked ribs were my favorite, but the brisket was delicious too.

This place is FANTASTIC!!!! Everything from the initiation of catering our event to the end result was incredible! The FOOD.... is absolutely mouthwatering! We had brisket, chicken, pesto turkey, ribs, all the fixins and the banana pudding to finish it off! I can't speak more highly about this place! Thank you for wonderful service, food and delivery! Anna you rock!!!!

After their fire, they've been saddled with just drive thru orders. They were nice, but with a $70 order, we were disappointed to be missing a sandwich and jalapenos we'd asked for. Too far to go back. Food was good,though.
