I had the daily special that was Davies take on a Ukrainian dish with half the proceeds going to support the Ukrainian people. The meal itself was phenomenal. The flavors all worked perfectly together. The thought behind the dish made It that much better. Every restaurant needs to have the heart of this owner operator. Well done Honky Tonk BBQ!!!!!!

HTK bbq is good for what it is. A small town bbq shop. The Brazos Nachos is my go to. The chip to bean to queso gives you the feeling of utter relaxation while washing it down with a frostie root beer. Downside is there is not a lot of seating and it's not the cleanest but it's bbq so I'd be scared if it was spotless. The brisket was good not great. The Mac n cheese was good but not great. The baked beans were also good but not great. Long story short, it's good bbq but not great unless you get the brazos nachos. Those are amazing. Lastly, the people and parking are great.

1st time trying the sandwich ? and the drink was tasty AF made my taste buds dance around. However too much bread for my liking ? maybe on a bed of fries next time lol.

There is always something new and tasty being dreamed up at HTK. Kindest staff. That Mac n’ cheese? Yeah, you better get that. Don’t sleep on them meats. Always get dessert.

We went to HTK for dinner last night, order to go. we ordered the Fam Nachos and Mac Attack, we had high hopes that we were going to love this BBQ place. Our meat was pulled pork and brisket, the meat was cold, the brisket had good flavor, pork was bland, the Queso was okay, the chips for our bbq nachos were really really STALE, they had to be open for over a week to be that bad. Hard to eat quest without chips. Mac and cheese was over cooked but had good flavor. we wouldn't eat their again, spent $30+ and couldn't eat much of our meal.
