Honestly the food here was really great so I wish I could give a better review. The owner of the place is one of the rudest, nastiest persons I have met in a long time. While I was in line ordering, she answered the phone and started yelling at the customer calling them names and making comments about how stupid they were to other customers in the store. She also berated at a young girl who couldn't have been older than 15 in line for no reason. Everyone else in the store was very sweet and helpful but I know I will not be back after seeing how the owner talks about and to her customers. Update: The issues above had nothing to do with masks or anything like that. I just observed a very unprofessional phone call and inappropriate interactions with customers.

When guests come to town, Lula Jane's is always on my list of places to take them. I get the baked oatmeal if I am there before lunch. I highly recommend whatever the lunch special of the day is: every meal I have had has been delicious!

Stopped by with my daughter and had the breakfast pie with bacon...superb! My daughter had the bacon scone, she said it was delicious! I had a cup of coffee and a refreshing glass of lemonade and my daughter had their sweet tea and she commented that their sweet tea was so good! I also ordered two slices of banana nut bread to take home! We enjoyed our morning on the patio and were so very glad that we decided to stop here. It's such a cute ambient place and the staff were very friendly and helpful! If you're in the Waco area you should definitely drop in!

Their baked oatmeal is so good! Ask for it all the way! Can't go wrong with any of their pies either, my personal favorites are the buttermilk and fudge pies! Their prices are outstanding as well.

One of my top two restaurants/cafes in Waco. Saturdays they have biscuits so that is my day of choice. Their breakfast and pastry options don’t really change, but their lunch changes all the time. So many yummy meals. I love the baked oatmeal and cookies. If stopping in Waco, you need to go!

We wanted to visit Lula Jane’s but we called first because so many breakfast restaurants we tried to visit that morning were actually “temporarily closed” when we went there. When they answered we stated “we just wanted to be sure ya’ll were open” her reply was. “We’ll I answered the phone!” We explained our situation and that we had drove to several places only to find them closed… she again replied with terrible rudeness. “I can’t help what other people do!! Goodbye!” Then she HUNG UP!!!How nice to have so much business that you think you should be rude to people. Poor choice Lula. Poor choice.

Coolest spot in Waco!! Staff is amazingly awesome but even more importantly BISCUITS and GRAVY and all the PIES are incredible and addictive. You've been warned

This place is a local treasure - been hearing about it for years and finally made it in today. Delicious pie, great coffee, beautiful garden seating outside. Definitely worth a stop when you're here in Waco!

We found a favorite place in Waco and it’s eating at Lula Jane’s! We’d recommend this to everyone to visit and try. Our favorite hands down is the Veggie burger!
