If you like burnt pizza this will be the place to go. Waste of time and money. When the kids barely touch it that's a sign of bad pizza.

i came in to place an order a hour before and they kind of ran away from the counter , after they finally came back and told me " sorry our kitchen is closed " but an hour before ????????? is crazy

This is the worst pizza I've ever had in Waco. I see their name everywhere. Was sorely disappointed. It's like a piece of cardboard. Got ranch with it and the ranch is like water. I love pizza and have never been so disappointed in my life.

When in Waco, TX and especially when you visit Baylor University, you have to stop by Shorty's Pizza Shack. There's plenty of room inside and on the outside patio to sit. The atmosphere is fun and the energy of the crowd is good. The wait staff are friendly and the food is good. The Cinnamon knots are amazing and our favorite item on the menu. The Pillows are all great as well as the pizza. Definitely worth checking out!

We had veggie pizza, white pizza pillows, fried mushrooms and fried pickles all was very yummy!
Ordered and paid online the day before pizza was to be picked up.Came to pick up the food and the order hadn't been started yet. Got lost in the shuffle. Had to wait 20-25 minutes on the order while it was prepared and finished.NO BUENOS, Senior.
Best pizza I've had in the Waco area service was pretty good too! But it definitely is a spot for the college kids if you want to have a good pizza night with your family I recommend just picking up and going home

Their pizza pillows are fantastic. I got it with ranch and would recommend marinara instead since the pillow doesn't come with sauce inside. We got it as takeout and it was very prompt.

I always enjoy a good pizza and really miss the Monster from Rosati's, but have to say the Works was pretty good. First time here, next time I will ask for it to be a tad crispier, house salad was good, egg on the side as I asked. We don't drink draft from any restaurant because of nasty nozzles and sitting in the tubes, so a better selection of local breweries (there are 4 I know of) would be awesome. Good kids play area outside with astroturf, but summertime will be brutal if no screening. Waitress Star at the bar was spot on. Will definitely be back. Thanks for a good experience.
