This restaurant is in a building along Highway 84/Waco Drive that has served as various restaurants over the years so it's old style and not a "fancy" place. Many years ago was a mainly breakfast place called Ira's Restaurant and in the early 2000's was a local Mexican restaurant called El Colorado. They serve a full Mexican menu. The food we had was very good. I was surprised to learn there are 6 others in the State of Texas with several around Houston. We will definitely visit again.

I had the Jalisco Plate and it was delicious. Perfect portions. Super flavorful. It was busy on a Sunday night but not too crowded. Even with the bustle, the service was prompt. The Mexican music gave a fun vibe without being too loud or obnoxious.

Always like coming here for a bowl of Caldo de Rez. This time it was horrible. No flavor, one piece of small meat on a bone , five slices of carrots and a leaf of cabbage. The tortillas are still good and the rice. The waitress asked us how our meal was and we had to be honest with her. She just cleared our plates and did not offer to substitute for anything else on the menu. We paid for the worse bowl of caldo ever. So very disappointed. ?

I use to come here alll the time, I don’t live in town and I stopped by for limonada y ceviche.THE YOUNG MAN THAT USE TO TAKE CARE OF THE DRIVE THROUGH WAS AMAZING!!!He always gave your drinks to you and then you pulled around.Toda, I was told no pull around I’ll take it to you with your food.I asked for my drink again, let a few minutes pass by, and when I walked in (mind you it wasn’t busy yet) I saw the manager sitting with 2 other waitresses and the girl who was getting multiple drinks trying to fix 2 drive thru orders at once.Call me stupid but then 4 could’ve helped her.I asked for my money back!

Food was very good. Service a little slow, but it was quite busy. It was noisy because it was so busy.Parking: Did not notice how many handicap parking places were there. Their parking lot is small.Kid-friendliness: There were lots of kids there.Wheelchair accessibility: It would be difficult for anyone in a wheelchair because space between tables is small.

We love it here!!! Service is outstanding and the food is amazing. Tipical taqueria texmex restaurant. Has a full bar with Mexican music jukebox. Festive atmosphere here can be loud and that ok. You're here for the good with a touch of Mexican hospitality. We love coming here and it's definitely a stop we consider when passing through WACO.

My friend took me here to try something better than a chain. Best mexican food I've ever had. Grilled fajita & cactus was delicious. The steak was terrific and cooked perfect. First time trying cactus: 10/10. Like a bell pepper mixed with a jalapeño and less spice. Will be back for
