The tea house is a hidden gem, in that it quietly resides inside the Homestead Gristmil. It's a fun and unique place to enjoy a cup of tea with a friend. A great rendezvous point. And, if you want to enjoy a cup of tea next to an old working water-wheel-powered mill, this is the place. Fun.

Wonderful organic award winning tea in this cute Gristmill from 1760 that still works. On Saturday they have the best toasted bagels that are made locally with smoked salmon and cream cheese. The employees are very friendly and the service is fast. One of my favorite places to visit on the weekends. They also have everything you need to make bread or if you just live to bake.

This is one of my new favorite places to meet with people! The rustic setting (it’s literally an old barn—and it smells like one, too! Best smell ever), the great tea, and tasty, home-baked treats make for a great tea shop experience. If you’re a tea aficionado, you need to check this out!Kid-friendliness: I would not take unrestrained small children here for a protracted period of time— there’s literally a millstone and several moving belts in reach of little hands. Maybe I’m just a safety freak, though!

Awesome environment! Setting is really cool. Amazing bagels and lox! I'm not a tea fan, but I'll drink this tea! Worth a stop!

What a wonderful treasure tucked into the Gristmill!! Listen to the flour grinding on a stone as a water wheel turns outside and sip on some delicious tea. The staff is truly the finest around! Very friendly and fast service. The seating is super comfy and is the perfect spot to catch up with a friend! On a hot day try the Iced Coconut Latte made from the Island Coconut Tea. It is AMAZING! I'm craving one right now actually!! On a cool day try the English Breakfast or London Fog both are top notch! Don't forget to try one of the freshly made pastries! Made using the Gristmill flour they are delectable. A personal favorite is the Cheese Sack. Mmmm!! So good!! All the drinks are to-go ready so you can always grab one and go on a nice stroll around the Homestead Heritage Craft Village or sit outside and get a better view of the beautiful water wheel.

Wow!! This place is five stars all the way around: atmosphere, beverages, pastries, and nostalgic vibes. Stop in for a cozy cup of tea or a yummy pastry—it will make your day! Highly recommend this charming little gem to anyone looking for a quiet spot to meet a friend or for grabbing a hot London Fog on the run.
