Twisted Root is a family-friendly, fun-vibes spot. The screens, the music, the excellent customer service are second to none in Waco, TX. While the burgers aren't craft or the best in the region, they are worthy of your visit. Come with friends and family to really take advantage of the upbeat ambiance here. Made to order food was somehow still merely luke warm when served, drinks were on the wrong side of expensive, and the big concrete box of a building is very loud even when not many people are in there. The burger recipe was good, but overall it was not an enjoyable visit.

Funky little spot. That is definitely geared towards the college age but has a great vibe. High-end burgers ordered at a counter with some unusual sides. Ordered the Gosh Jam It burger with goat cheese and habanero tomato jam, it was great. Strikes me as a super size batcave with videos and TV being projected onto concrete walls.
