Great customer service and very interesting history of the business. Good sized portions and you can watch it get cut up right there. Bbq sauce was a little too Carolina style for us but we like real Texas Bbq flavor.

Got a side of peach cobbler. Usually very good but today's batch is full of flour bits and tastes like dough.
Had the turkey Deluxe on wheat, with a side of white potato salad, and five of the stuffed jalapenos...The sandwich was hot, the potato salad was cold, and the jalapenos were just right...In the last 40 years I've never had a bad meal at Uncle Dan's... and God knows I've tried about everything on the menu!!!

Worse customer service in waco. Beans are strait from can. Brisket overpriced, dry, tough. Potato salad is all mustard and hard potatoes. Slow service.. save your money people

The canned green beans were bland, the canned pork &beans were even worse, the potatoes were still crunchy /not fully cooked in the white potato salad, I've had much better sliced brisket at many backyard BBQS.Unfortunate because 20-25 years ago this place was one of the best. Too bad it has gone downhill.??

On one of plates it was the wrong side orders. And then I ordered white bread they gave wheat. She was rude at the drive thru to begin with. I won't be coming back here. People on the line need to be more aware of what they are doing.

I love this place, not everyone does. I always get the lean sliced brisket, yellow potato salad and baked beans. My family gets the sausage plate and the Texas Tater. Everyone enjoys this place.
