Here's the short and dirty; Great concept, cute place to sit and dine, nice selection of dishes on the menu, great food, but service and drinks -not so much! It takes forever to get even just a beer, much less a cocktail, which weren't very good. What keeps bringing me back are the main plates, especially the salads and the meatloaf, which are really good. If only the service, menu availability and bar were better and more organized it would be a five star spot!

Walked in -.never greeted -had to ask a employee where to go - who do we speak with to get a table . .. was told it would be 25 min for a table so we opted for the bar - after getting drinks and asking to place an order - the server kept asking us to give her a min. Once I asked for a manager - it was then told it would be another 30 min before I could place an order. Unprofessional - the server didn't care that we had already waited 30 min - she ignored us and continued to serve everyone else- I watched 3 other parties come in - order drinks and two were eating salads -all arriving af It was pretty sad to see the only two black patrons be treated this way

Not as good as last time we were there. Food not hot, lesser portions, prices up, needs cleaner windows and less smoke from kitchen…$140 for 2 people with two glasses of wine and Shrimp and Grits dripping in chile oil and not as many shrimp as previous visits!!!!!

I ordered the Shrimp and Grits. They were sitting in a pool of melted tobasco butter. The shrimp were perfect but the grits were not fully cooked. My husband has the bison burger which he said was really good. There were still Christmas decorations up and other than that a notable lack of decor. The service was good but many items on the menu were unavailable.Parking: The closest parking is parallel parking on a sloped street.

Incredible food, I had crab cakes and the chicken. It was mouth watering and I had plenty to take home. I will be back. The staff was wonderful as well.

Tasty selections from the kitchen! Flatbreads were super good. Nice place to come in for dinner or just a glass of wine with an app. Right seating in small room, but honestly didn't feel cramped. Service was friendly and helpful both times we were there.

Rib eye was nice cut. Tenderloin was good , but the cut was on the smaller side. Mash potatoes weren’t quite up to temp. Asparagus was tasty and good. That with a tip was $120 which seemed a little high. Included 2 mixed drinks as well. Overall very good. Waitress was pretty busy, but got the job done. Friends recommend the meatloaf, maybe next time.

Had a spur-of-the-moment lunch here. I’ll be completely honest: we ate here because we couldn’t find another certain place where we had planned to eat. That said, with zero expectations, Cork & Keg was fantastic! Quick service, great ambience, and quaint food. Next time we come, it’ll be on purpose ?

Amateurish wait staff. Entrees do not relate to price point. Uninspired dining room. Way to bright. Lights needed diming.

Great food in a great place, but the service is lacking. At one time it was a great date night place but lately it seems like no one is in charge of the wait staff. Service is chaotic and dressed in sloppy clothes. On one visit we literally had to step over someone on the stairs watching his iPad. The food has always been great but if they could make adjustments and improve the service atmosphere and it would be an incredible place.

Love visiting this little spot when we come through Waxahachie! The food is Sooo good!! This place is tucked away on a side street, and so worth the visit!

We ate here one evening a week ago, the food was great and reasonable pricing. The place is small with not a lot of seating so make a reservation. We got in at the time but several groups after us who came in without a reservation were turned away. Great local place we will be back

I would give this place 5 stars if you could eat there without smelling like you manned the grill yourself. Food is great; esp spinach dip and meatloaf, good wine selection as expected. Just ruins a nice date night to have to immediately do laundry haha

It was a disappointing evening. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday dinner anticipating a great meal for the both of us. I had to order three times to find something they actually had available .... He ordered the beef tenderloin. I ended up with the meatloaf which was nit what I wanted but enjoyed. His steak was not good. He would not allow me to protest for him, but if it were my 50$ steak, I would have. We will not be returning. It's too expensive to possible have to pay for nit great food ....

Hands down the best food I've eaten in a long time. That says a lot for someone who eats out every meal. Service was stellar as well. We had the shrimp and grits and filet. It is a little on the pricey side when looking at the menu, but WELL worth every penny when it arrives. Will definitely be back.
