I didn't think there were enough menu choices. Very few choices with much shrimp. My plate with scallops and shrimp tasted good but gave me an upset stomach. We will probably not go back.

Well, got a stomach ache after sampler trio... Fried calamari, fried pickles and shrimp queso with a side of red beans and rice.All of which I've had before elsewhere,I will not be eating here again.Something was Not right about that food. Noticed the red beans N rice was extra salty too. Usually what happens when they try to hide old food or make it last longer!!I hardly ever get a stomachache....I can count on one hand the times in my whole life I've been Nauseous and I am fifty years old!!!

As always the food is good. The staff is friendly. The service is fast. This time on my visit I paid attention to the bartender. He was good at what he was doing except... I observed him make a drink that needed to be shaken. That was fine, but to pour the drink he put the shaker cup bottom side down inside the cup with the finished drink inside and used it as a strainer. No problem except that his naked hands were on that part of the cup and I observed him handling money. This means he transferred whatever was on his unclean hands to the persons drink. More attention needs to be given to bar hygiene.

Service was great. Food was AWFUL. We went for the crawfish. We got the regular and they put the “ spicy “ on the side. It was just spicy seasoning. The crawfish had NO seasonings whatsoever. We ordered potatoes and corn as well - again NO seasoning on either! If you’re going to offer crawfish and have people drop money on - AT LEAST MAKE IT TASTE GOOD. We love crawfish and this was our first visit but we will stick to TeJun!
Food was mediocre at best and overpriced. We were offered desert at $8 a slice for pie. 3 of us at lunch. Each with different orders. My small catfish was cut so thin all I could taste was grease and the coating. My friend said it was the worst meal he had ever had. Third person liked his food. Waitress was friendly and quick.

Arrived on a fairly busy weekend evening. Was given a wait time of 15-20 minutes. While we waited, I watched as the hostess (who was a bit unfriendly and seemed frazzled at how busy it was) sneezed into her hand, used a rag to wipe a table, got menus and sat customers, then went to a silverware wrapping station where she was touching the fork prongs and the blades of the knives before wrapping them. All of this without ever washing her hands. I reported this to a gentleman I believed was a manager, but I never saw him speak to her. Luckily, I didn't need utensils to eat my meal, but I'm not sure I'll return to this establishment. The food is good but the service is lacking (at least it was on this day), and I question the behind-the-scenes cleanliness and hygiene. Also, we were given straws that were literally the same height as the glasses. Perhaps someone ordered the wrong length straws.
