I’m not sure if this place is still open. We went once and had slow service and had to send the order back twice to get it correct. Food quality was average.

What a DUMP!!! Service and food SUCKED!! Plates came out like musical chairs. This table got one plate while the other 3 waited and this table got a plate while the others waited. Took FOREVER!!!

Backroads Cafe is one of them good ol' boy/girl home cooking ? kinda places that makes you feel like your at Ma's eatin. Good place to catch up with the town folk. All food we have ordered is very good and reminds us of the South. It's a local favorite and one of the only reastaurants in the official city of Brock, TX.

DO NOT RECOMMEND, our Waitress was extremely hard working, apologetic. WAITED 2 hours for lunch!!!!!! The owners were not honest about how long the wait would be to eat. 80.00 plus tip for lunch that took TWO HOURS to prepare. The mens restroom was filthy and had no soap! We should have never tried to support local. Arrived at 12:15, food was not ready until 2:15. Wanted to support local, brought my family of 5, awful, awful, awful experience.
