My recent experience at Shep's was extremely disappointing. The service was slow and indifferent, the food quality was poor, and the overall atmosphere was lackluster. I cannot in good conscience recommend dining here to anyone. I've had better at McDonald's.

I worked as a professional nanny for over a year for the owners and learned a lot about their personal lives. Jennifer and John are dishonest people with a lack of compassion or empathy. Their kiddo is awesome though! I wouldn’t trust them in business again. I came to sheps to retrieve a check and John got in my face to intimidate me then proceeded to call the police. Would not advise supporting these people. I was warned by so many people in Weatherford about the Shepherd’s and unfortunately had to learn on my own.

Some of the best burgers you can get west of Dallas. Huge burgers are super filling and great after a day out hiking or at the lake. Fries are thick and crispy and pair perfectly. Our waitress seemed busy with a lot of tables but she still checked in on us throughout the meal. Food came out very quick and tasted great. Highly recommend!

We stopped in for lunch with 2 kiddos in tow. They got the nugs of chicken kids meal and omgosh were they nugs of actual chicken! I got pulled pork fries and after trying chips and queso, I had them add queso to mine and they were phenomenal. If you try this I recommend queso on the side though as they got kinda soggy. My friend ordered the BLT and asked for extra bacon thinking the normal amount wasn't enough and boy was she wrong. When the sandwich came out she could hardly eat it, it was so large lol. My friend got crinkle cut sweet potato fries which normally i hate, but she insisted i try them and they were seriously delicious and i will be ordering them again which blows my mind.The staff was beyond gracious and helpful and offered me another one of my drinks but to go.. how sweet. This is now one of my absolute favorite places in Texas! An absolute must try!!.The atmosphere is very sports/casual like with outdoor and patio style seating options as well as indoor options.

Fun place inside and outside seating most tables have games on them that you can play, great place for a family to go. The menu has lots of options, and the food was fantastic. The garlic parm fries with truffle oil added were bomb, and the service was great, we will definitely be going back real soon.
