Ate here with a large group and had not been here in nearly a decade. The place was very nicely decorated for Easter but it was hiding the fact that the entire inside needs an update. The service was fast and friendly with no complaints. You still get free queso as part of your chips and salsa. I love the fact that the salsa is warm but it was a little flavorless. The overall food was just ok, not the best Mexican food but also not the worst.Parking: Watch out for the compact car only parking.

Authentic in every way! I have never had better enchiladas in my life. The whole family loved every dish we had.
Loved Mom Alone.Staff were friendly.Food really tasty (and huge portions).Drinks were delicious. We particularly loved the margaritas and tried the coconut, mango, pineapple and strawberry ones (strawberry was my favourite).Atmosphere was cosy.

Food was excellent, I had ground beef tacos, cheese enchiladas, top shelf margarita. This restaurant has authentic Mexican food, I could tell by the refried beans. The only down side is the salsa. It needs to be spicier. My husband had fajita beef poblano enchiladas and they were delicious too. Great service, we will definitely be back!

This place has really gone down hill in recent years. They used to be very good . The owners split from the Mamacitas restaurant up NASA road 1 and formed Mom Alone years ago. I'm assuming by their downfall in quality and the shabbyness of the outside of the building that they won't survive in their prime location. There's too many great places to eat if they don't turn things around.

Was visiting the area and decided to eat here based on reviews. It was hidden by the elevated roadway but arrived after a u-turn. Ate early dinner at 3pm and had the entire place to ourselves. Lunch specials were still available till 4pm. Small queso was brought to the table with the chips. Waiter helped me to pick the fajita dinner. Every plate was great and delivered to the table hot and still bubbling.The facility was older and could use some paint outside but the inside was clean and pleasant.Overall, glad to had found this place and will return of in the area again.

My favorite Mexican place hands down. I come to Texas for about a week a year, and it's mandatory for me to come here every time. Their cilantro and Mom-Alone enchiladas are spectacular, and their Chile con queso is my favorite of any place.

Listen, it's one of those places that has good food but clearly the inside hasn't been touched in 15 years. It's one of those places where you don't really want to know what the kitchen looks like and you're not sure the last time they cleaned the air vents... But the staff is very friendly and the food is good and it's definitely a go-to place for local people. I just really encourage them to update the decor inside and make it feel a little cleaner.
