We both had curry chicken street tacos done in a bread style bowl instead of tortillas. My inner fat kid is grinning ear-to-ear right now. Add on the fact that the people working in the truck were exceptional hosts made this a must do again for us!

If you're in the mood for something different or have a hankering for some caribbean THIS place is awesome! It's Trinidadian food but with a few fusion twists. Great flavors, unique dishes, meat and vegan options, and rum cake! Currently in Galveston but they do events as well. Customer service is awesome, and the owners are great! Fantastic!

Oh wow, this place is fantastic. My only complaint is the limited opening time - just Friday and Saturday afternoon right now. So far I've only had the doubles (sort of like chickpea tacos - chickpea shell and curried chickpea filling) and daal. The daal, such flavor. Tomorrow I'm going to hit it again and ask them for a triple or quadruple serving of the daal, and try the chicken curry. Such a solid addition to Galveston's food scene.

!!!!!!YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE!!!!! Before I even discuss the food, THE SERVICE ive lived on the island most my life and was really tired of the same type of food, weve passed the food trucks a few times before so we decided to stop in for lunch. We've never even tried curry so the owner gave us some very tasty samples and we were happy to order what he suggested. We sat down and he personally brought us every plate as it came out. THE FOOD!! Very healthy portions and really fresh. The flavor was like something I've never experienced before. I usually am particular about trying new foods, but everything we tried made me clap my hands and do a little dance. I had to stop and talk to the chef and tell her how amazing our experience was. I will recommend this place the next time anyone asks me where they should go for a nice hearty lunch that they can still feel good walking away from.
Loved the food at Trini Mike’s Food Truck- enjoyed The Tour of Trinidad and the Rum Cake- highly recommend! Good size portions and so yummy! Not too spicy- just perfect! Really enjoyed something other than burgers and pizza. 5 STARS ⭐️!
