Went to the Restaurant in Weslaco. The food was delicious the lady at the register was very polite. Only problem is I noticed that the ladies preparing the food do not wear gloves. Working in health care. I know the importance of this and many aspects especially with food handling. I woke up this morning with a very upset Stomach. I don't think I will be coming back. And that's a sad thing because the food was good.

The food is delicious, but the cleanliness of the place made me think about the conditions in which the food is prepared.The place was messy and dirty. EVERY table had food or sauce on it so I cleaned my table myself. It wasn't filthy level dirty, because we ended up eating there, but it definitely wasn't clean and no one wants to eat at a table with someone else's leftovers and dirt.And my main reason for taking the time to write this review is that the man who served us at the checkout had a tone that could be considered "quite rude" for many. I don't appreciate someone answering me abruptly and annoyingly when I speak in a cordial and polite manner.

Came here for lunch and the food was delicious but the staff was rude and would hide whenever we would try to ask for anything and just made faces I whenever we did get them to respond (was mostly the young lady at the cashier)

We came here yesterday morning and today morning. We liked the food yesterday so we decided to come again. We spent $50+ yesterday and today we spent $40+ on the menu at the register, it says family combo $35 10 gorditas of your choice + 5 beans and cheese + 3 drinks. We go with family combo, but the guy the cashier said we can’t pick whatever we want, it is not your choice, but on the menu it clearly says in both English and Spanish that “your choice of 10 gorditas” but like if it is not your choice then why say that on the menu??? Literally also to mention the customer service is just not okay, no welcome no thank you literally for real fr. We love their gorditas but with what happened today I don’t think we will stop there again.

I won’t be returning. Employees aren’t very welcoming and the food was not the greatest.
Very delicious food you can’t go wrong with what ever option you go with and good prices. We did had a bit of a situation with my partners food but they were able to remake it right way. The gentleman who was there was very friendly but the ladies (specially the manager) not as much that is why I gave it a 4 stars. I might just be used to a more friendly environment but if you work in a customer service environment you should at least pretend you like people ??♂️. We didn’t give any problems with the situation we had with the food so that should’ve been a sign that we we’re just trying to enjoy our food. So it was kinda uncomfortable when the manager would bring our food to the table because of her attitude/personality.

Didn’t wear gloves when making my food. Ordered my 6 gorditas 20 minutes before arriving and it still wasn’t ready when we arrived and the restaurant was empty. Also no hairnets or beard nets being worn.

Best place for authentic gorditas. Rajas con queso is a top favorite and so is Asado de Puerco. Try them. They're delicious.

Really wish I can give him 0 stars! Very bad service! Seems they don’t care for the customer! Waited over 20 minutes for an order that they hadn’t even started on because they were very busy with the tablet orders! Like really then hire more people so you can take care of the customer.Don’t recommend to visit!
